plenty of hard standing for live in vehicles

hahahaha!

Also: I can't wait for this.

I thought our regulars might appreciate that comment :-)

I certainly did... now that I've got a van I was a little concerned there would be nowhere to park it!

Danny Colyer - - Parent

Dave, can you reserve LP a spot just in case?

Davemlaw - - Parent

I'll see if I can reserve you a spot, any preferences where?

Little Paul - - Parent

It's a bit of an odd request, but I'd really like a spot under a streetlight next to a really thin bit of grass... But that's probably hard to accommodate

I wanted to come, but I rang the box office and they said they couldn't be 100% sure that drunken charvers would be stumbling through the site in the wee small hours so I told them it just wasn't up to snuff.

Ooh look, a picture from the archives :-

Surely 'Morrisons: THE BEST' circus festival, would be more appropriate?

It can't be Tesco Value, there are no horses.

Orinoco - - Parent

This isn't just a juggling festival. This is an arrive early Friday night, pitch your tent, try & get a takeaway order correct, spend all night drinking & chatting with friends until morning, laze in the sun the next day, think about doing some juggling but don't bother, go to the legendary stealing workshop, laugh so loud & generally be so disruptive that Steve has to use an airhorn to get people's attention, watch an awesome show, argue about it afterwards, try & heckle Richard with as many puns as possible during renegade, carry on the party in the marquee until your body gives out, wish you hadn't drunk so much over the first 2 nights so that you weren't incapable of doing anything remotely skilful in the games on Sunday festival.

LP When you say a thin bit of grass, what exactly do you mean will this spot be to your requirements?

You can just see the streetlamp on the right

Orinoco - - Parent

I think you'll find he will see, "You must login to view this page"

Davemlaw - - Parent

I thought that would happen, how do I upload the photo?

Little Paul - - Parent

Barnesy has a technique for finding the direct link to the image on the Facebook content servers which doesn't require a login, but not doing Facebook I have no idea what's involved.

I suspect it's something along the lines of "right click on the image, select the 'copy image location' or similar from the menu" ... Or you could stick it somewhere else like b3tards.com or flickr

Not sure if that method I used to use (for linking to individual photos regardless of privacy settings) is needed . Before, when viewing a photo, you would see it in the black background view, and you wouldn't be able to right click it to find the image address.

But now it seems you can do that right click, in Safari at least. All I used to do was reload the page when viewing an image, which would switch the page to the white background version.

OK lets try this:

It might work

Little Paul - - Parent

that works, and that spot would be perfect!

Davemlaw - - Parent

I'll see if I can reserve it for you, what time are you planning on arriving and what workshop can I talk you into running :-)

Little Paul - - Parent

last time you talked me into running a workshop, it was at OMGit'searlyoclock on the saturday morning having been up late the night before getting well and truly bladdered - I could barely stand up, which was what the workshop was about.

I ended up with a free ticket to the following year.

Which was almost embarrassing.

Oh, and J says on no account are you to let me run on to the stage this year.

Davemlaw - - Parent

So shall we say a workshop in "how to make a stage entrance" at 8 am on Saturday :-)

Orinoco - - Parent

You can follow Norbi's helpful guide, or you can send it to me by email & I'll upload it here.

Davemlaw - - Parent

You have mail in your TWJC address

Apart from it not being my tent, that's pretty much exactly the photo I just failed to find in a quick search of my own photos.
