Hi Everyone!
Thought I'd introduce myself - but some of you know me already. I'm Ellie, I'm ginger and my juggly origins are in York (although I currently reside near Birmingham). I was also one of the Yellow Hoodie wearers at BJC 2013 (the only ginger one), so sorry already if I forced you to restock toilet rolls... I can juggle/hoop, but at juggling I tend to get distracted by tea, cake and board games.
I'm on the hunt for two things which you lovely jugglers might be able to help me with:
1) an Irish juggler called Blue (female) who was at BJC 2013. I can't find her anywhere!
2) Any Australian jugglers who live on the East coast. Me and my other half (Ben Dove - also yellow hoodie wearer but he didn't look like he did much...also the finance guy) are travelling from September in that area and we're looking for new jugglers to meet, greet and feed cake!
Thanks everyone!

Gee, thanks Chris!
I remember you too - you always wore a hat and danced beautifully with that broom...
Hi Ellie, glad you could make it.
I wasn't sure whether to let you in or not given that you mentioned Ron Trickett in your invitation request. You did put on a great BJC though so I thought it best to give you the benefit of the doubt ;)

Hey hello Ellie. Welcome.
Hi Ellie,
The Irish lass named Blue; I think she is the one who asked about the navy contact ball in lost property being acrylic and who advertised Galway Convention on the BJC facebook group (well she is Irish, female, came to BJC and called Blue so it might be the same person).
Australia in September; some of the Newcastle (UK) jugglers used to go to Australia to avoid the UK winters they might have recommendations.
There is also the Melbourne Juggling Convention in September which would be a good place to meet jugglers, Mullum is also on the east coast in October, don't know if Objectify or Hoopy Happenings are on this November. If you are still there in January there is often more than one event on the Australia Day bank holiday weekend (but they normally clash with Chocfest) though the only east coast one, Sydney, I think has ended.
I assume you found the list of Australian Jugging Clubs on this site.
There is also some info on Sydney juggling clubs on this reddit thread.
Good luck with your travels, don't forget to bring some cake.
M
Thanks Miarke!
I've heard rumblings about a Wollongong Juggling Convention in January?
I have also heard such rumours from Circus Wow (Wollongong Community Women’s Circus)(facebook link) though they are calling it Wollongong Juggling Festival (WJF), perhaps to avoid confusing it with Wollongong Juggling Convention (a convention held in the early 90s)
