The Juggling Edge - Hello all!

Hello all!
I signed up to the juggling edge about a week ago but have only just got around to posting here...
I haven't juggled much in the last few years, since my local club shut down, before that I'd learned a few 3 ball tricks and to juggle 4 balls and 3 clubs (not at the same time, haha...) plus lots of mucking about with various other props. I realise this is probably pretty much beginners stuff to most of you!
Anyways my ladyfriend and I have realised we need a good excuse to get out of the house and do something, so we may well be turning up at one or two of the Bristol clubs in the near future, hoping to meet some of you there.
The flipside of this is that she is taking me to a knitting/crochet circle, which I'm surprised to find I'm quite looking forward to.

I have some crocheted hacky sacks that work quite well as juggling balls.

Just putting it out there. Do with this knowledge what you will. ;)

I'm a juggler from Bristol, but I don't get out much (too many other projects on the go!) so probably won't get to meet you particularly soon... but jump on in with both the Monday and Tuesday clubs as they're both very friendly and full of lovely people!

Welcome Sam, glad you made it.

Don't be surprised at enjoying new skills, I think juggling makes you appreciate any type of skill more. After spending the time to learn how to juggle it makes you have a greater awareness that any skill can be learnt if you just put the effort into it. This means that you are more likely to give new things a try which is A Good Thing™.

You make a very good point, and one I've often thought myself, I just hadn't recognised this as an instance of it! From some of the post I've read I gather you're the one behind this site? In which case many thanks and you have created a very welcoming community.
