Hey guys, I'm Aaron from Kingston, ON, Canada.
Individually, I'm currently working on five balls, 4 clubs, 3 club flow, and 3 ball sequences.
For passing: I'm working on 4 handed site swaps (killer bunny, whynots, etc.) and manipulator patterns. Scrambled V is the best, haha.
Also hoping to put some thumbroll records up.
Next fest should be Turbo in Quebec, QC, though I'm helping organize Kingston's fest in March 2025 (tentative dates are March 6-8).
Hi. Some of those passing patterns look properly fun. Like void says, remember to breathe when you're working on 5 balls. Makes a huge difference.
Might have been void who told me that 30 years ago, now I think of it :)
Perhaps. I think it was Max Oddball that told me, though I wouldn't swear to it.
Looks to me like you used the shift key 7 or 8 times when you typed all that. Would 2 more really have been so tough? :-P
Hi Aaron!
Welcome to the Edge. I am guessing you might know Greg? He is a friend of mine, through the international club passing community. (Just assuming that the passing community in Kingston is small enough that you know each other. Also wonder if maybe he mentioned an Aaron last time we met...)
I'm Maria from Sweden, and I know most of the theory about club passing. Doesn't mean that I can juggle all the difficult patterns, though. :) I do like 4-handed siteswaps and manipulator patterns, but also other moving patterns as long as they are not too easy or have so many jugglers that it becomes hard just because of the number of people. ;)
I still haven't learned to juggle 5 of any object, but I practice clubs more than balls.
