Goal setting?
I'm wondering what you guys think one goal setting. Every month I set goals for what I hope to achieve by the end of that month. This does not include tricks, more like fountain, cascade, shower, backcross etc.etc. records. I'm wondering what you guys think of it? Should I come into every practice with a goal? What do you guys do?

I have several "focus patterns" that I practise every practise. I track progress in working toward a goal, but rarely have a deadline for a goal.

yeh, I'd say "priorities" .. depending on how much practice time is left that day, I concentrate on primary only or fun-stuff aswell. Primaries will take as long as they do until they're ripe and fall off the tree. I test stuff - e.g. 5b reachover; e.g. 5b blind; e.g. 9b flashing; e.g. 5b7772615°; .. - to get an impression of how much they seem within reach, then decide to do them some / a lot / regularly / retry some day / or not at all for time being. "Vision" is maybe a clue, too. Things that will serve as preliminaries get an 'extra point' for "do it" (e.g. as warm-up or for power left towards end of session).
