Does anyone know if there is a feed for the "Drop Everything" IJA podcast?
I'm fed up with having to grab it an episode at a time and sync it to my phone manually. I want a feed I can add to my podcast app (like every other podcast) so I get new episodes automatically.
Has anyone else solved this one?
While I'm here, I'm open to suggestions of other podcasts on any subject that I can add

I've not solved it and would welcome a separate RSS feed too!
Have you seen https://www.comedianscomedian.com/ ? I think it'd be right up your street (especially the earlier ones)

Phil Blackmore and Robin Gunney were singing the praises of comcompod at Bungay last year, and about a week ago I finally managed to finishing listening to all the episodes (apart from one which I can't download for some reason)
There's loads of great stuff in there, and every so often I'll listen to an episode which makes me contemplate having another crack at the open mic nights - which is probably almost entirely a bad idea.
Currently on my feed list are:
- The Nerdist (I don't listen to every episode, only the ones with people I've heard of)
- The Allusionist (15 minute episodes about words/etymology)
- More or Less (Radio 4 - Statistics - I only listen to the full episodes, not the short ones)
- Reith Lectures (Radio 4 - About 4 episodes a year)
- Penn's Sunday School (an hour of Penn Jillette a week)
- Comedians Comedian
- Ramblings With Clare Balding (Radio 4 - Walking, I really like the style of this one)
- Still Untitled: The Adam Savage Project
- Do The Right Thing (Although it's been over a year since the last episode)
- The Infinite Monkey Cage (Radio 4 - Science)
- Answer Me This
I used to listen to The Bugle and RadioLab but got bored/annoyed with them for various reasons.

I've got over 50 on my list - many from the Beeb. You might like:
From Our Own Correspondent - BBC correspondents doing snippets on life where they are posted, some serious and some frivolous.
Short Cuts - Josie Long presents audio articles on a topic each week. the closest the BBC have to Radio Lab.
Radio 4 Choice - a one-off R4 documentary picked from the week's output.
Welcome to Nightvale - drama based on the output of a US community radio station based in a town where all the crackpot consiparacy theories are true.
The Nerdist and The Allusionist look interesting. I'll give Penn abnother try but I got sick of his libetarian rants in his old show (years ago)...

Some of those look worth exploring, ta!
With penn, it's worth cherry picking based on guests, but there are a few episodes I'll dig out and recommend specifically where he's talking mostly about magic or juggling.
I used to listen to The Nerdist, but after watching At Midnight (by the same guy) and finding it terrible it ruined the show for me...
For myself I have (there are actually about 20 more, but these are the better ones):
- The Infinite Monkey Cage
- The Moth - radio versions of the Moth story slams
- The Skeptics Guide to the Universe - although they can seem a little obnoxious it's a good source for currentish science
- FreakanomicsRadio - general interesting stuff from an economics point of view (I've used a few ideas explored in this when organising conventions)
- BBC 4 Inside Science
- Radiolab - Similar to FreakanomicsRadio
- InKredulous - Another sceptic one...
- Welcome to Nightvale - as Mike said pretty good. I see it as Douglas Adams meets HP Lovecraft
- BBC 5 Live Science
- Skeptics with a K - more sceptics...
- Be Reasonable - People with stupid ideas (like homeopathy) explaining their views... interesting how deeply ingrained their beliefs are and how un reasonable they can be.
- This American Life - similar to Radio Lab (same producers as Serial)
- Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality (HPMOR) - Fan fic of Harry Potter by Eliezer Yudkowsky (magic from a critical thinker point of view... + dark)
- No Such Thing as a Fish - Facts from the QI elves
I highly recommend HPMOR, Serial, and FreakanomicsRadio.
I should probably add that I do not listen to any of these at 1x speed. I get incredibly bored if I don't get enough information in a given amount of time (I'm sure there's a word for it...). Instead I listen to them all between 1.6x and 3x speed (same with audibooks).
I listens to Welcome to Nightvalue at 1x speed the other day and was surprised to realise how much of an impact the speed gave it. At 1x everything feels slow and relaxed, whereas 1.6x feels more like how I imagine people to be in that situation; rushed, on-edge, unsure about their existence!

Thanks Ian, I've picked a few of those to try
Would need to know which podcast you are already subscribed to before knowing what to suggest. I imagine you already have Joe Showers interviews with american jugglers Catching Up

Looks interesting, but I can't seem to find a feed url for that either, closest I can get is to install the soundcloud app on my phone and use that - which isn't quite the same thing :(

It's pretty new, and I know Joe was/is looking into putting it on podcast feeds. Hopefully it becomes available that way in the future.
Couple of feed options:

Thanks Orin,
Unfortunately those link to the articles which in turn link to the mp3s, but they're not linked directly to the files which would be sucked straight into my podcasting software...
I thought that might be the case just after I posted. In which case I'll just drop these here for Scott:
The Blubrry PowerPress Podcasting plugin looks like it will do everything for you.
Apple have a useful example in their feed specs page which is obviously geared towards getting your podcast featured in the iTunes store but if you just want to synch up with RSS readers I think you just need to include this line:
<enclosure url="https://example.com/episode1.mp3" length="100000000000" type="audio/mpeg" />

Ooh! It looks like http://ezine.juggle.org/tag/podcast/feed/ now has an episode (episode 13) with an enclosure tag, and I've managed to successfully add it to my podcast app!
I assume that means Someone has been experimenting - in which case I'd like to report that your experiments are going in the right direction!
Yay! Although I notice the length & type attributes are empty. In my reading a lot of places said these were required so some podcast apps might complain, but obviously not LP's.

Thanks guys for the info and suggestions and help. It has been on my to do list for a long time. I've only started playing with the tool and know I have a more to do. But I'm glad to hear that the basic stuff is working already.

Thanks for your efforts on this Scott!
