European Juggling Convention 2014
A quick little reminder that pre-registration for #EJC2014 closes today at 23:59 CET so if you are planning on pre-registering, today is your last day to do so.
Pre-registering helps us to plan the event more effectively: without realistic estimates of the number of attendees, we have to pay a premium for the last minute hire of additional showers / toilets / fencing etc.
Thanks all, and I hope to see many of you in the (big) village (or very small town) of Millstreet [which some people have been referring to as a city - they may get a shock]. I've had reports that the grass in Ireland is growing nicely at present, so should be pleasant to camp on.
I wish I could have gone again this year, my trip in 2006 to EJC in Millstreet and visiting jugglers and friends in and around the UK before and after it was a fantastic time.
If you're still sitting on the fence get off it on the EJC side :)
And pre-registration is closed. If you are still planning on coming to the EJC and haven't pre-registered, remember that you can pay onsite, in (Euros) cash only I'm afraid [transaction charges are a killer]. I'll shortly be starting the volunteering push - we're not going to be one of those huge EJCs, so will need everyone to chip in and help out.
With a population of about 1500 in Millstreet, we expect jugglers to outnumber locals - it's not often that that happens, even at an EJC!
In case ye haven't heard.... the Legends Stage at #EJC2014 is looking rather tasty...acts include
it is scheduled to run on the Friday night [that's the 25th of July]... and it will be the first juggling show that my parents will see [not a bad introduction I think!]
