Hi All
I just joined the Juggling Edge because I just moved to Syracuse, NY and would love to meet some other jugglers here. There used to be a university club but I think it is defunct... Does anyone know of a club meeting in Syracuse? My friends & I are going to meet weekly:
SUNY-ESF quad,
Mondays at
6pm
as long as the weather is nice. Come join us!
Vern
Welcome to the Edge Vern. Good luck with the new meet up, I hope it works out. Was yesterday your first meeting (if so how did it go?) or do you start this coming Monday?

Rochester has an amazing juggling scene, you should try to make it over there at some point. The RIT JuggleIn is one of the biggest festivals of the year in the spring. Cornell/Ithaca has a sort of weak club too, but I don't know about Syracuse.

Hey Vern!
John here a SU Juggling and ESF alumnus. I don't know of any meeting in Syracuse but I don't think it would be TOO hard to get a space again for the winter next semester. Back in 2005 we were working with Joe Lore and Ernie Rivera and I'm sure they would remember the club. Their email addresses are on this page https://recreationservices.syr.edu/about-us/staff.html . There are probably props still hanging around that you could use, too! Hopefully, they didn't get thrown out.
While you are in CNY definitely check out the Juggle-In in Rochester. Usually its in April or May. You will probably see another ESF/SU Juggling Alumnus Joe there.
Good luck with your meetings and have fun,
John Haffner
PS If you happen to see Laura DiCarlo Crandell tell her, her old roommate John says, hi. Yes, ESF is that small.
