Attention! Dear fans of Carnaval! The time has come to make difficult decisions that are, however, inevitable in the current reality. ?
Because of this, but most of all out of concern for your health and safety, Carnaval in the format everyone knows and loves will return in a year. ?
But we will not leave you with nothing. Especially now, we all need celebration, we all need carnival! This year’s edition of Carnaval will take place in autumn, in a format that the sanitary regulations will allow us. ?
We will focus on Polish artists from the circus and theatre communities and together we will try to prepare something for you for this difficult period. More details soon. ??♂️

Carnaval Sztukmistrzów to największy w Polsce festiwal prezentujący sztukę nowego cyrku, akrobatyki i klaunady. Do miasta zjeżdżają artyści uliczni i mistrzowie sztuki cyrkowej z całego świata, aby prezentować zapierające dech w piersiach spektakle i pokazy.
Na ulicach spotkasz połykaczy mieczy, akrobatów czy rozśmieszających do łez klaunów. W namiotach cyrkowych obejrzysz niepowtarzalne przedstawienia nowocyrkowe, a w strefie na Błoniach pod Zamkiem spróbujesz swoich sił w warsztatach żonglerki czy chodzenia po linie.
Patrz w górę! Ponad głowami zobaczysz 300 linochodów z kilkudziesięciu krajów świata, spacerujących po taśmach rozpiętych pomiędzy zabytkowymi budynkami lubelskiego Starego Miasta. To Urban Highline Festival - najstarsze, największe i najpopularniejsze na świecie wydarzenie poświęcone chodzeniu po taśmie – slackliningowi.

Carnaval Sztukmistrzów and Urban Highline Festival 2020

Carnaval Sztukmistrzów is Poland’s largest festival dedicated to new circus, acrobatics, and clown acts. Street artists and circus arts masters come to Lublin from all over the world to present breath-taking acts and shows. We meet sword swallowers, acrobats, or clowns who have us in stitches. Circus tents are stages for original new circus spectacles, and the zone in Błonia near the Castle is a space for juggling and slackline workshops. Look up! Above your head, you will see 300 slackliners from several dozen countries around the world. They walk on lines hung among the historic buildings of Lublin's Old Town. That's Urban Highline Festival -
the oldest, largest and the most popular international festival dedicated to slacklining.
