NATIONAL CIRCUS FESTIVAL IRELAND – HIGHLIGHTS 2016
“It’s circus Jim, but not as we know it!”
Run away with the circus for a weekend with us and be part of one of the most exciting festivals in Ireland. See eye popping international shows, learn how to fly on a trapeze, be sore from laughing at the absurd and in awe of feats of incredible circus skills.
Silver Lining present an Irish premiere of their show Throwback described as “incredible talent-a must see show” in a 5 star Edinburgh review. This year will also feature 5 x 5, our initiative supporting new Irish circus work, the annual ISACS seminar and will bring to you artists from the UK, Italy, America, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, Israel and France.
Catalan-based and internationally renowned street theatre company Kamchatka bring their show Kamchatka to the streets of Tralee on Sunday. Described as “a wake up call’ for conscience by swipes of fine humour, as storytellers without words, without adornment, as subtle, profound and lasting happiness donors.”
Join us for this, our 15th year anniversary, to celebrate the national expression of contemporary circus in Ireland.
