Hello Chaps, I always feel a bit of a fraud posting here because I am not a hard core juggler! However I just wanted to pop on and remind people that the British Juggling Convention is coming up soon and I am hoping that lots and lots of you are planning to come.

If you don't know much about the event this year, take a look over at the website https://www.bjc2014.co.uk and also there is a vibrant group on Facebook with lots of chat going on about all sorts of 'Super' stuff! https://www.facebook.com/groups/theBJC/

One of the latest is our version of the neknominate craze - our version is chucknominate or chucknomination. Lots of enthusiastic people have been making tiny videos of themselves performing a quick trick. There have been lots done now - once you do yours you nominate 2 more to do one too. Remember to hash tag bjc2014 too!

If you don't know, it me that is heading the team and if the BJC is going to continue into future years we need your support. Your support in the form of buying a ticket and coming to the event - loving it and then coming again next year. Last years team made a loss and numbers are down this year. I don't want to make loss this year too, so please take a look and buy a ticket!! and then get 10 friends to come too!!!

hahahahaha! I think most of us here are hardcore tea drinkers!

I was a bit slow getting my ticket this year, my pre-reg number is in the mid twenties (I was irrationally proud of getting numbers 1 & 2 for Bodmin in 2006).

I have long since been fed up with waiting for the BJC.

I've got our tickets too, although we were rather late pre-registering (although, I was sort of expecting a confirmation email and didn't get one - only the paypal receipt. I'm sure that'll be fine though :)

I like the video, and #chucknominate looks good at over 100 videos for it on youtube already.

Yes you are right, no email confirmation as the Paypal transaction is proof enough. Turn up and identify yourself at the pre-reg desk like normal.

And thanks for the video thumbs up and we have had over 1100 views - its been posted 3 times (because of silly spelling mistakes the editor felt compelled to fix and re-upload!!) so although that version had 300, no 2 has 203 and no 1 has over 680!

And if anyone on here has made a #chucknomination film - please make sure you send it to Lewis Kennedy. He is creating a BJC channel on youtube as a way for everyone who ever makes a BJC film to have them in one place, and the chucks will be edited into a film (or 2!) to launch it!
