oh my... so long since i've been here....
Started with a new job a few months ago and i'm not findind the time or energy to practice everyday as i used to...
but the other day me and my wife went to the highschool where she teaches and gave a juggling workshop.
was really fun! we had like 25 kids, and taught them flow, balls, clubs, diavolo..

sadly I will not be able to keep up the frequency of this first half of the year... changes in work and every-day stuff won't let me have so much time to myself. Gonna have to make the most of every session-

3clubs, bounce, diavolo, 60 minutes

Today we made a "children's day" show in a school. 2 performances actually. one for 1st grade to 3rd. then 4th to 6th.
It was soooo good! we'd worked on a full clown and juggling show. it was fantastic!
And I say "clown and juggling" because I used to make just juggling shows, with a bit of clowning here and there... but , with the good influence of my girlfriend (she's more a clown than me) we mixed both arts in a show that "had" some juggling, but not just juggling.
The juggling parts included contact-club and contact-poi by Andrea, and bounce balls, diavolo, clubs and clubs while riding a snake-board by me.
kids had a blast, and we did too!

Don't you just hate inconsistency? fisrt group of flashes, made 2, and like 3 allmosts. then the 2nd group, couldn't make one even close... why is that? WHYYYYY? (Screaming to the sky)
then an 11c run... felt pretty good, too bad I wasn't able to keep it going.

Great session! 2 flashes, but many allmosts. then a 16 catch run!!!
some good runs with 5b, far from my PR though..
Also...
Children's Day is coming in Argentina :) we have a show booked for this wednesday, so my girlfriend an I are training for it. I tried a few [5b 1up 360° to collect] for that, and we are putting together a clown and juggling number.

Everyday stuff (like work, and all that) is keeping me from training as much as I'd like, don't you just hate that? But... today, after a few days without trining, made 2 flashes in a row, on the 2 first attempts :)
Then another one in the 2nd group, not bad.
wow, a very beautifull 13-catch run! it felt really smooth, too bad it fell down pretty early...
then nothing more...

Hard day. took me 36 attempts to get a flash. My arms are tired from yesterday's session and also from rehersal with my band. 3 hours playing drumms can be really demanding on arms, wrists and hands.
Anyway, I got through the session, got my one flash, and a max of 11... it'll come back up.
(foot-lifts are going really well with both feet :) )
