5prop mix, 3 balls, #blind, devilsticking, #StagesOfLearning, #technique, #focus, 3 clubs basics, 182 minutes

10' - devilsticking - upto 4 tictocs to drop.
#SoL #technique #focus(ses)
my experiences with that devil° upto now [ roughly in chronological or learning-steps' order: ] ..
1. halfspins with both handles, intending to get faster, partly taking care to stop it on the side where is against its spin first, only then (a twinkle later) to sustain its other end to fully land it,
2. both-handled double spins ( only a few ),
3. somewhat controlled faster both-handled halfspins merge into one-handled regular tictocs, trying to tic near its center ( initially did on its ends ),
4. ( new today: ) both handled halfspins, now trying to keep the devil's spinning center on the spot as good as can, which i think is most near to doing with one handle,
?. .. [t.b.c.]

(( ° - i think, or from my little experience yet, the stick is not the devil's, but the devil himself, you know ))

4' - 3c doubles

142' - 5prop mix 2b3c ( tinyclubs, doubles ) - 3 rounds to a ball drop two times and once chaotic into all caught somehow.

26' - 3b blindfold - 173, 140 throws max.

7 balls, #StagesOfLearning, #focus, #endupatt, #outstandingRuns, 9 balls flashing, 5 balls, 185 minutes

5b casc varied - ~12 min.
9b flashing - ~50 min. ___ Got three times 11 throws, before even getting 8 gathers. ___ All in all: Eight times 11 t, one of which into 7 gathers. Four times 8 g. Two times 9 c at hands ( like 7 c + 1 bounce + 1 touch, with time enough for having caught them all in very good pattern ).
7b casc - ~123 min. ___ 61 ( great run, easily well-aimed into pattern's top, almost all throws perfectly alike ), 43, 51, 45 cl, 46, 53, 43, 49, 43 throws' runs longer than 40 t. ___ #SoL #focus - In several runs, got over that 40 throws hurdle when it showed up, by instantly doing only a littler bit higher, thus slower, safer, in order to settle in the well-rolling pattern and adoing. ___ [ daily7b III: 61 ] ___ Got 1 clawthrow back to one round, then clean collect. Failed on a few attempts on a backcross. Also, never get the doublecatch in 977777707[75].

7 balls, 9 balls flashing, 5 ball tricks, #learningSiteswaps, #StagesOfLearning, #focus, 5 balls, 195 minutes

5b casc varied - ~12 min.
5b 34567 - ~15 min. ___ Upto into incomplete sixth rounds. Best clean was four rounds. ___ #SoL #learningSiteswaps #focus - lacking control, doing behind the timing, reactng more than acting. Focussing on and getting the 6-es well (tend to come as inside columns) is currently clue to longer runs.
9b flashing - ~60 min. ___ Eight times 8 gathers. 11 throws into 7 g, 12 t into 7 g, 13 t into 6 g. Nothing near 9 c today, but nice patterns in the air sometimes.
7b casc - ~108 min. ___ 44, 51, 46 throws' runs longer than 40 t. ___ [ daily7b III: 51 ]

7 balls, 9 balls flashing, #focus, #StagesOfLearning, 3 heavy balls, 5 ball tricks, 5 heavy balls, 225 minutes

3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - ~13 min.
5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - ~7 min.
9b flashing - ~90 min. ___ Seven or eight times 8 gathers. ___ #focus #SoL - One completely unreasonable 15 throws (while balls already dropped and I think with a gap too), but a first attempt ever to look at and to focus on and to juggle into the top of the pattern only (in a big mess). ( thoughtworthiest fail, so to say )
5b 34567 - ~10 min. ___ not over four rounds into collapse, once. ( did too lax somehow, unconfident, and worrying about using up 7b stint's ahead's time )
7b casc - ~105 min. ___ 54, 42, 41, 51, 45 throws' runs longer than 40 t. ___ [ daily7b III: 54 ]

7 balls, 9 balls flashing, #otu, #mentec, #focus, 5 balls, 173 minutes

5b casc varied - ~8 min.
9b flashing - ~40 min. ___ ( didn't wanna do that long, but rather invest in 7b, but it went well, felt good, and I was greedy on gettin' sth ) ___ Got four times 8 gathers. Two or three 9 c in reach ( but for e.g. fumblin' the second last catch into two last drops or so ). Upto to 14 unreasonable throws in an already lost rest of the pattern ( still five rethrows in rhythm, tho ). __ oh! .. forgot: #SoL - For rethrowing I had that perception-flash of focussing on more than only the first, like four, I think, incoming balls, already spotting them, that is, .. before(!) even having finished the launch. Thinking and doing further ahead, so to say [ #mentec #focus ]. So, that's a good idea to do at current level.
7b casc - ~120 min. ___ 50, 49, 52, 43 ( this one ended in several reverse throws ), 43, 47, 49 throws runs longer than 40 th. Towards end, the ground was wet from a slight rain, and the dirt \sand \tiny stones stuck to the dropped balls and didn't wipe off easily anymore, so I tried absolutely dropless, going to collect at slightest loss of the 100% safe pattern or slightest feeling of loss of control, and got upto like five-six runs to clean collect in a row before next drop, longest being ~27 c cl, most about only 9-11 c cl. But it felt too restricted, unfree, and I rather went for it again. ___ [ daily7b III: 52 ] unrepresenting weak yield, as I was partly well connected to pattern's top, which felt good, like sth were possible today.
5b casc - ~5 min.

7 balls, #endupatt, #focus, 5 balls, 55 minutes

( uncosy wet-cold at start did with gloves on )
5b casc varied - ~5 min.
7b casc - ~45 min. ___ 47, 55, 57, 41 throws runs longer than 40 th. Feels great, once it rolls in a run - focus on pattern's top aiming into it and on constant height and precise well, truly snapped-in + active, acting, not passive reacting control over it, doing absolutely `right´ throws all the time. The `middle´ balls aren't in a blind attention spot anymore, but it's a whole pattern with each ball at its place moving along that chain of pearls. All I need is to manage to stay there for a longer while, melted to the right beat in an ongoing same ado. ___ [ daily7b II: 57 ]

130' + 40' - 5b rev casc - 106 (@ 15'), 127 (@ 20'), 103 cl, .. sometimes I'm putting zeal and effort in saving hopeless patterns, and with success lately - avoiding too low correcting throws, staying on good height `no matter what´ is clue then, .. 173 (incl. two collisions luckily saved back to pattern), 119, 113, 114, 105, 102, 109, 111, //15' break//, 107 cl, 165, 114, throws runs longer than 100 throws. 3 balls, #experimental, #focus, #otu, #technique, 3 ball tricks, 5 balls, 7 balls, 75 minutes

Radar looked like rain would stop soon, but didn't, so i stood under a small roofed area doing 3b.
3b cascade - ~20 min.   Had for a while been wanting to do this: find out exactly when the  c a t c h e s  happen: Like when pulling on the one end of a rope hanging with both ends over a branch, in order to uplift sth tied to its other end, I focussed on the downward movement of the catches imagining I'd be doing the other hand's upward throwing movement with that catch movement of catchhand. In other words: Doing / thinking the throw by the countermovement of the opposite catching hand.   It seemed like the / my throws - in the yet normal pattern - were a bit earlier than the catches, so it felt like for doing as described above, throwhand had to shortly wait, delay a few millisecs (until catchhand got its ball to pull down). Or else - in a higher, slower pattern - I had to catch later for also the throw in question to be later. But I might be completely wrong, as it's unusual and difficult to focus on the catchmovement + other hand's throw at the same time. I did get that clear feeling / impression of ``pulling´´ the throws up with the opposite catch though.   Interesting tweaks of dwelltime and I'm not through with finding out exactly what goes on there and how to use it.
Tried blind a bit, but got too many drops.
3b 52413 - ~20 min.   (4 thrown reachover, so it looks like ongoing cascade)   went well in spite of a few drops.
A few minutes of 3b "fastest", rev--rev--normal--normal.
5b endure - ~20 min.   219, 373 throws longest runs.
7b casc - ~8 min. ( rain had stopped, but it was darkish and didn't feel warmed up well )   A hearty 23 throws run with good focus and rolling well for those two periods was best I could get from scratch. ( rest were bad launches and blunders )   [ daily7b II: 23 ]

5 ball tricks, #endupatt, #StagesOfLearning, #focus, 203 minutes

133' + 70' - 5b rev casc - started with bad weakhand, after somewhat fixin' had then still bad angles, .. 95 (@ 65'), 96 cl, 107, 99, 91, 134 smooth, fluent, 145, .. ( #SoL - ) can't tell what is now distinctly different compared to the beginning of this stint and to yesterday, just overall lower, speedier, better in shape and rhythm; ( #focus - ) I was, though, at start swimming a bit with different focusses on now this then that. ( #endupatt - ) Maybe going for a pattern that is about as high as wide is a clue to getting it good ( instead losing time and effort on high narrow patterns when trying to find into pattern, if that's possible ). .. 111, //20' break//, 101, 100, 101, 103, 131, 96, 99, throws runs longer than 90 throws.

5 ball tricks, #focus, #efficiency, #mentec, #reflecting, #StagesOfLearning, 262 minutes

187' + 75' - 5b rev casc - 83 (12'), 83 cl, .. with more focus on angles, no columns, doing wider, lately, I've been neglecting pattern's top, overthrowing the last ball up, connecting left & right throws somehow. ( Else, i can only "Throw towards center line, but not over it!" ) That last ball up's apex or trajectory also needs to be anticipated as it's still on its way up when I do the next throw. ( In 5b regular cascade in compare, once a ball is past the middle, the tunnel for the next ball is wide open. ) Finding, then focussing on what exactly triggers the next throw, thus the entire rhythm, could be an effective approach for any pattern. .. , 111 (35'), 95, 91, 87, 95 cl, 87 cl, 104, .. one ball down -15 g to 35 g - exchanged it, .. 87, 111 cl, 85, 95, //10'//, 134, 83, 116 throws runs longer than 80 throws.
