#PR, #list, #endupatt, #outstandingRuns, 1 minute

Old PR: 53 catches last late fall.
71 throws run. Think, it were like 67 or 68 caught before drop.
Overdue by mere statistics, after getting several 53 throws runs and a few estimated round PR uncounted very long runs this year.

It was another of those rather high runs. Not narrow at all. No fight to keep it up in between. Actually not much effort needed.
I think, all I did, was to throw rather a good bit too high rather than a tiny bit too low .. make dead sure to be on height all the time, but hard to tell, what - if even - was different. I think, I also scooped well without thinking about it.

Felt very simply cascady. Felt so 'normal' during the run, like I've been doing this before and would later again. Not felt like sth 'new' or extraordinary or 'other'. So, --> no yell, no outburst, no kiai.
But some great relief, maybe satisfaction for being on the right way, and against some casual doubt of maybe practising wrong, thinking wrong, doing sth essential wrong, even though knowing that my average has risen since last year. One or two moments of deep peace sensation also for having taken this hurdle of breaking by number that last old PR after feeling so much like having improved considerably.

I was really now running out of any new preliminaries or recipes after having done
  - 5b cascade varied in any way
  - attempting to flash 9b a lot
  - controlling a pattern (or 5b) partly mainly from wrists
  - focussing on drifts in 7b pattern and working against these by e.g. scooping more
or e.g. training wide\narrow-control with 5b, or e.g. pulling patterns near my body
  - and enduring 5b a lot.

Even though I couldn't, in one hour's remaining practise time, confirm by getting another run like that, higher than old PR, I can now have an outlook and hope to get long runs in less practise time. And getting into 7 ball tricks (!?) is getting nearer as an option. And I can hope to improve even faster now (my longed for "breakthrough"). I can hopefully soon now go out for practise to actually juggle and not try or find into pattern. But find back into pattern anytime during an actual run :o)

Total practice time: 1 minutes

Location: concrete area among fields

Stephen Meschke - Congratulations on the PR. I have had that feeling after PR runs too. It's very tranquil.
7b_wizard - Thanks! :o)
7b_wizard - .. Demons of doubt and failure and the latent fear of having reached a limit, a sound-barrier, after which any improvement or finetuning or building new muscle-groups never used before would become neccessary needing another years ..
7b_wizard - .. those demons all wiped away, dissipated to nothing, .. a bubble of doubt plopped to naught :o])
