I realised recently that it is very close 20 years, give or take some weeks, since I flew half way around the world to attend EJC 2006 and visit some UK jugglers (some of whom are here on the Edge).
It was a great trip, I had a good time and felt very welcome despite not really fitting in. If you have not been to a convention, I highly recommend it. Go ! enjoy, learn.
I'm not as active as I used to be, but I am still fond of juggling and circoarts. If you're just starting out, stick with it, don't be discouraged by slow progress, some tricks are hard and just will take time to learn.
