It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that Slackfest will be taking a fallow year in 2026.
2025 was a massive success having built upon previous years- with your help, support and feedback- and we wish this to continue moving forward.
Last year we reached maximum capacity on-site which we were thrilled about, but it also brings it's challenges!!
The Core Team reflected on the commitment needed to put on this years event both safely and successfully, and the difficult decision was taken, due to lacking the resources and secondary team members/ support, to put on a show that we can all come together for.
The Core Team will be coming together again this September to start planning 2027 which of course, we're very excited about!!
But if anyone feels that they'd like to contribute in any way, no matter how small, please do get in touch. We are a community lead festival and your input will always be gratefully received.
We will of course keep you updated as we get moving with it later this year.
But for now at least, from all at the Slackfest Team, have a great summer and we'll see you in 2027!
