Bath UpChuck 2016 (UK juggling convention)

UpChuck is the annual juggling convention organised by the University of Bath juggling society, Gravity Vomit. This year it's just a week away on Saturday 20th February!

The convention is hosted in the spacious Founders' Sports Hall on campus, which is perfect for all kinds of juggling and for the second year the show will be in the recently built Arts Theatre. We have a great day of workshops, combat and juggling games planned. Oddballs, the juggling equipment supplier, will also be in attendance for another year! The show has come together wonderfully; being compèred by the excellent Matthew Tiffany and featuring acts by Frederike Gerstner, Eddy Bacon & Tom Derrick to name a few.

This year tickets are £8 for the day only, £6 for the show only and £12 for both combined. Under 12s are eligible for free day entry. The day will run from 10:30-18:30 and the show from 19:30-21:00.

You can buy tickets before the day and here's the FaceBook event. To get the combined price just add both the show and day items to your basket before checkout.

#UpChuck2016 see you there!

Can someone give me the stats on Upchuck please?

Who performed at the Gala?

from Dee's list of helpful statistics:

* Performer Name
* Gender
* Convention [name (location) and year]
* List of those involved in organising the line-up of the show
* Act Type
* Headliner / Main Act?
* Host
* Solo Act (Yes / No)
* If Not Solo Act: Number in Group and Proportion of females in group
* Total number of performers in show
Nice to have:
* Number of Appearances by that performer in the show
* Number of previous appearances in show (are they a "regular")
* Approximate distance traveled by performer [more for small regional conventions - are organisers selecting from a much smaller group of jugglers].
* Venue restrictions [e.g. was rigging possible in show venue?]

I'll try to remember after the event.
