Repeating here for people who are too Old Skool to be on facebook... Which old skool juggler/performer/entertainer would you most like to see on an old skool panel show? And what would you ask them?
Ooh, Rod Laver would be fantastic. If there was one person he could spit a ping ball at, who would it be & why?
Sean Gandini - he seems to have been around the British juggling scene for a while.
And a question - Is wearing three juggling clubs on your head while trying to knock the clubs off everyone else's heads how you would want to be remembered?

OMG, so many to chose from! I'll limit myself to those who haven't already done it, are alive, and likely to be talked into doing it (ie ruling out people like Mark Heap and Eddie Izzard as while they both started out as jugglers or street acts, they're all big and famous now and unlikely to talk to us)
I'll try and avoid people who have already been named, or on the panel, or who we've heard a lot from through other channels.
Stuart Ashman (Him of "The Catch" magazine) - Q: The cover photos on The Catch were generally awesome, tell us about them! Additionally, "go on, it's been nearly 20 years... who was Diabolo?"
Steve Rawlings - Q: A man with an act like yours must have some amusing injury stories, apart from shooting yourself in the hand what's the worst injury you've had?
Devilstick Pete - Q: How do you feel about being responsible for the (still surprisingly common) "5th time naked" heckle?
Bim Mason - Q: What made you start Fool Time (later to become Circomedia), and what was Jay Linn like as a student?
Either of Skate Naked - Q: After 30 years of doing handstands with your kit off, what's the worst thing which has happened to you on the street?
Kati Ylä-Hokkala - Q: Why does everyone want to ask Sean Gandini questions and never mentions you?
Anna Jillings - Q: Having written the book on club swinging, what do you think is missing from modern poi acts?
Oh, and Claire from Bristol - Q: go on, say "combine harvester" for me, one last time... and can you still do that lovely spinning 4" stage ball + squashball stack?
bringing people back from the dead is indeed a little beyond the remit of the Old Skool production team.

Yep - all of them!

> Bim Mason - Q: What made you start Fool Time (later to become Circomedia), and what was Jay Linn like as a student?
Christ, my memory is struggling, but was Bim one of the founders? He was a tangential figure during my time there. AFAIK Richard Ward was the prime mover, and other figures were Audrey Somethingorother, Frankie Anderson, Bim Mason, Luci Gorrell-Barnes, Guy Dartnell, and Helen Crocker. Some/most of them were probably involved in some degree from the outset.
And if you want to know what I was like as a student why don't you read my interview piece in The Catch? Or was it Kaskade? It's all too long ago, I don't remember! Would've been spring '91 I guess. I'm pretty sure it was pretentious bullshit either way.

Seems I got my fool time/circomedia timeline a bit skewed, bim appears to have been one of the original teachers, but wasn't really responsible for starting anything until fool time folded and he was jointly responsible for starting circomedia
I think the interview must be in kaskade as I'm sure I'd remember seeing it when I re-read the catch last year.
Cedric Lackpot - - Parent #
Yeah, that sounds much righterer. Bim and Helen were the main people with Circomedia IIRC. Would've been '95 I guess, when it opened it's (already well appointed, ta very much Fool Time) doors.

It was June 1991 - issue 22 which is now available from the fantastic Kaskade archive at https://www.kaskade.de/en/download/download/

Thanks for finding it - I've just skimmed that issue, but so many of the articles in it press all my juggling buttons that I'm going to have to read it properly later!

How about:
Donald Grant. Who's the filthiest pig in a dressing room?
Rob Stone. Have you still got your Wallance and Gromit jumpers?
Mat Ricardo. Who robbed what off who in Covent Garden?
David Cain. Can I see your videos please mister?
Winston Plowes. How do you leave the props behind?
Tarim. What's wrong with just one hand?
Haggis. How much of a twat is Charlie?
An old No Fit State Lag; maybe Lynn? How did a hippy collective turn into a succezssful business?
Paul Morrocco. Could you do what you did then now?
Charlie Dancey. How much of a twat is Haggis?
Peewee. What happeneded that night in Derby?
Michael Pearce/ Pearce Halfpenny. Tell us some cool old stuff
Jules Haworth. Ptuj? Really?
Pretentious Ken. Have you ever left East Anglia?
thomasl. How do you like Scotland?
Nice ideas. I'm imagining (almost certainly unfairly) Haggis and Charlie sharing a seat/place on the panel like that time Jedward were on Never Mind The Buzzcocks

I like all of those!
