If you've seen the previous show "Thingamabob", you'll be familiar with Matt Pang's quirky professor character, engineering Heath-Robinson contraptions into co-operative object flingings or manipulations. #LogicOfNothing extends the idea with a larger set, bigger ideas, and an element that made a surprisingly big difference: sound. Contact mics are rigged up to various parts of the equipment to amplify the various squeaks, scrapes and creaks into eerie or funny soundscapes that create a brilliant "thinking laboratory" atmosphere for Oscar Boffin to work in.
