I don't think so - it also feels very 423 .. so not synch. Can't do that active 2 consistently yet, latest impression is: it feels ``piston´´ rather than synch.

Mike Moore on 7b_wizard's log 2017-03-26
Interesting! Do you keep the pattern synced through that? I've only tried "activating" the 2x before.

7b_wizard on 7b_wizard's log 2017-03-26
I'm thinking it 423, so the 2 is on the column ball (3 is crossing ball). Then, exactly, just a slight toss-up (did simply press that ball at first just for shift of focus those msecs, then `dared´slight tosses.)

Mike Moore on 7b_wizard's log 2017-03-26
For the "active 2", do you mean doing a little, in-place toss before throwing it over the pattern?

633 with 3s as reverse backcrosses sounds horrible. Please succeed so that no one else needs to...

watched it. makes sense. very instructive. thx 4 sharing

Happy Birthday Maria.

Oscar Lindberg on Oscar Lindberg's log 2017-01-05
Hahaha! Actually I was in Florida, so the sun was more of a problem!

Maria on Maria's log 2017-01-01
Rules of course saying that no drop can occur anywhere in the pattern until the club had gone from one end to the other. :)

Maria on Maria's log 2017-01-01
It was just a zigzag (two lines) pattern, each person except the ones on the ends feeding two others. It became quicker when we figured we should do 3-count (or 6-count on the ends) so that at each pass beat the "special" club actually was passed to the next person. First we did 2-count (or 4-count)

7b_wizard on Oscar Lindberg's log 2017-01-05
Oh, .. "outdoors" + "winter" + "Sweden high up north" .. Did you wear a cap?

7b_wizard on Maria's log 2017-01-01
Nice and sweet world record! :o) Was it a ring of passers and that 'king'-or-'rabbit'-prop wandering along the ring (or even across?) ?

James Hennigan on James Hennigan's log 2016-12-04
I was very relaxed because I new I could do it, it wasn't surprising. I have been getting lots of long runs of 7 recently so I knew it would happen soon. I was much happier when I recently broke my 6 ball record, which I might try to do again soon.

7b_wizard on James Hennigan's log 2016-12-04
When I got my over 70 catches, that I always wanted, it felt like any other PR, maybe a bit special. But goals like grow and I've been wanting more (control the pattern and not have lotsa fails anymore).

7b_wizard on James Hennigan's log 2016-12-04
"7b over 100 c" .. so strong! Congrats on this great & big achievement! :o) ... Did you freak out, or were you just satisfied \ relieved?

Stephen Meschke on Stephen Meschke's log 2016-11-18
Thanks, I cut up some drinking straws and put them between the balls. It works much better. Still have to glue it up.

7b_wizard on Stephen Meschke's log 2016-11-18
Maybe you can put 'sliders', short wooden sticks, between the balls - as spacers.

7b_wizard on Stephen Meschke's log 2016-11-14
Haha.Cool.

7b_wizard on James Hennigan's log 2016-11-13

Yes, I did mean to write that! Sure :) We did it in a sequence that I filmed a while ago (http://juggling.tv/14391 if you're interested) and it was a massive pain, because transitioning into it it was really easy to do the wrong thing, even though the juggling in

Maria on Maria's log 2016-11-13
Cool! I'll try it again, we didn't get it running. Maybe I'll get a chance to try it with you after christmas? Ha, yes, it was confusing. We should probably have started with more than ten minutes practice time left... Maybe next time. :) I guess you meant to write phpspsh (like I wrote)?

Brook Roberts on Maria's log 2016-11-13
I feel I have to comment because psphpsh is an awesome pattern! One of my favourites to teach people :) We've named it the confusing pattern.

Oscar Lindberg on Oscar Lindberg's log 2016-11-05
It sure is! Thanks, I have to work a little bit to get back to where I was a few months ago though.

7b_wizard on Oscar Lindberg's log 2016-11-05
Wonderful planet! .. and, .. You're getting better and better! :o)

Maria on Maria's log 2016-10-30
I have also been told that I can move one hand a bit to get down sideways like the second half of a cartwheel.... Don't know if I can do that either.

7b_wizard on Maria's log 2016-10-30
.. but, yeah, it's maybe more tricky than what I said "simply make it a foreward roll". Also, I now notice, it requires wrists overbend some when falling in an angle to the back's side.

7b_wizard on Maria's log 2016-10-30
@Orin - I didn't mean to fall on the neck, but fall over on the hunched back .. only unlocking the arms the moment and angle hwere you're sort of past the neck to fall on, if that makes sense.

7b_wizard on Maria's log 2016-10-30
@Maria&Orin - Maybe you can get two people to hold you by the legs and secure you, and you can get into the foreward roll with them two slowing it down, if Orinoco (as handstand expert) agrees.

Orinoco on Maria's log 2016-10-30
I find it is much safer to lock one arm & lift the other off the ground, twist so that your front is facing the direction of your fall then just put your feet down.

Orinoco on Maria's log 2016-10-30
Fear of falling flat on your back is a very good thing! Fear of falling on your neck by attempting a forward roll is good too.

Maria on Maria's log 2016-10-30
Yes, you are probably right about me being afraid of falling on my back. I know I'm supposed to be able to turn it into a forward roll, but that soesn't help much when I'm not sure if I would actually do it in the right moment when needed.

7b_wizard on Maria's log 2016-10-30
Oh, and .. You're getting better and better! :o)

7b_wizard on Maria's log 2016-10-30
"handstands" - I think, you're afraid of falling on your back and not know what to do then. But you can simply make it a foreward roll by bending your head to your chest and bending your back and pull in your legs before you fall from overweight on backside.

Maria on Maria's log 2016-10-26
I should probably try it in 531 before going for 534 with the 3 thrown behind my back.... I think I have done a 531 that way a few times about 1½ years ago. But sometimes it's more fun to go for the difficult trick with small chance of success than for something I think I should be able to do.

Brook Roberts on Maria's log 2016-10-26
53 with the 3 behind the back :) I'm glad you are pushing yourself!

Your bouncing basket- and tennisballs really brings diversity to this log. Also sounds like you been juggling for a whole good while already, and you're already into jargon, and you know what you're doing, like doing really structured sessions. Nice read! Keep it up .. erhh .. bounced back up!

7b_wizard on Jake's log 2016-09-06
Yeh, stretching makes a lot of sense to me too. I also do a few exercises ~2 mins before each session, too.

Hi again, Jake and welcome to log section, too!

Austin on Oscar Lindberg's log 2016-09-04
I sometimes think that a limit on the number of goes is better, then you think carefully before each go and don't get panicked trying just one more time. Just a thought.
