# passing, 5 clubs, 3 clubs, alberts, 120 minutes

Right arm still a bit injured, but it could do most things except reach up to catch passes. Did some decent left handed body throws in passing and should work on these a bit more and possibly try more exciting things in one count.

5 club stuff is getting good - regime of cycling through 5 club moves is helping. Got 97531 to 7 rounds of 744 back to pattern. Couldn't work on 7 due to arm. Should keep practicing triples and singles regularly when arm is better.

# passing, 150 minutes

Nice passing session. First went through some 6 club hijacking that I hadn't done in a while, and a new one going from maybe to funky bookends. Then a good 4 rounds of Champy, a takeout pattern I've only done once briefly before, but which is pretty nice. Had a go at Spiderweb which didn't really work as expected, but then a good go at diamond back.

I don't do this sort of passing stuff so often these days (more boring two person stuff and endless lists of siteswaps). Was fun!

# 5 balls, 5 clubs, 7 clubs, 150 minutes

Mostly good training session, although reminded that backcrosses only work after practising a few days in a row.
5b backcrosses - seemed kind of there, 14 good throws once. Work on the exercises more.
5c backcrosses - struggled on the entry, but I've not tried this in a while.
744 - worked well. Heydar suggested 4 rounds, 1 round of 94444, then back to pattern. Got this, and then straight away was getting multiple runs of 50 catches, so I think the focusing on form first really helped.
7 clubs - having a good club warmup before hand was very helpful, as was having the energy to go at it for a while (because there are so many things to fix). Main issue - left hand going forward, right hand back, also a bit narrow. Really focus on throwing with the right hand a bit later and from a bit higher. After a lot of work two good goes with 17 throws and 12 catches.

# 5 clubs, balance, 110 minutes

Good session. Been starting with one run of bx switching into rev bx, and it's nice how much more comfortable that transition is getting just by doing it once each session.

Getting better at balance tricks, and landed the 5551, 1 behind the back into the balance. Normal transition still fails more often than not though so need to pull that up.

5 clubs generally getting better and working on a variety of ss is helpful. Got 66661 and 88441 with 1 behind the back without too much effort - again these are good exercises for the 97531 (which I didn't land with 1 behind back today). 744 very nice form - really need to focus on timing, and low relaxed 4s - doing this gives me space to think about the 7s.

7 club flash worked. Got 10 catches in best run, although I was quite annoyed because it was easily good enough for longer, which is promising. The launches seem more relaxed and using less body movement which is good. Float the first two, then spin the rest.

# rings, 60 minutes

Ring session, that went very well. Cycled through standard 3-5 ring tricks. Highlights: Landing 10 3up 360s with 3 rings first time, and getting very close to a 5r 5up a few times (I've never done that before). Got about 48-49 catches of 6 rings twice.

Then qualified 7 rings on my second attempt! (and the first attempt was a clean collect after two throws). Not sure where that came from - I'm guessing my periodic attempts at 7 clubs have magically helped my rings.
And then I got a clean flash of 8. Turns out catching rings is really easy - I had a few close attempts where I nearly got them all, despite the attempt looking pretty shoddy. Can't get away with that with clubs! The actual flash was pretty neat though.

This ring business is seeming more fun. I particularly like how slow and relaxed things like 360s are with them.

# 360s, one-handed, 35 minutes

Decided to go along despite hand injury, and just practise 360s with one handed juggling, which should also improve my weak hand.
Continued to be pleased with my 360s. Did various 2 up combos (2 stage hi lo, 2 stage lo hi, 2 stage hi lo and rethrow) and then did a few things with 3 in one hand. 3 up and hi lo to and from 8040 worked, nearish to 2 stage 720 (2 up and rethrow) but also lost one of Heydar's balls up the top :( Really need to focus on not throwing second/third throw forwards.

# spins, 4 clubs, passing, 90 minutes

Messed around with some silly tricks for a while which was fun, should do that more often.
Practised 3 clubs in right hand because left hand is still sad. Then tried 6 anyway which didn't go very well. I think my left hand didn't really want to try...

Decided to do spins instead, since I'm finding them more amusing recently, and as practise for some tricks I would like to get in passing (8 club 8 up in 2ct singles, and then more ambitiously the 8 up 2 stage 720). In 4 clubs got 2 up 360, 2 up 720, 4 up 360, 4 up 2 stage 720, all from sync singles, and a 4up from async singles. Feeling nice, need to focus on being slow. Also I can cheat and do silly corrections, I should try not to rely on this :)

Finished with a bit of passing with Heydar. We got the 4 up in 8 clubs, and some bad runs of 9. Probably need to take at least a week off now though, since it's evident the hand isn't going to heal without more forceful intervention (i.e. not juggling for a while).

# 3 balls, 4 balls, 5 balls, 360s, 5 clubs, 70 minutes

A strange session where I was kind of hungry and sugar deprived, decided on a whim to dedicate almost all of my session to 360s and still seemed to do pretty well. Zoomed through lots of 360 tricks that I never try that went quite well - 4 ball 2 stage, 1 high two low with 5, 3 up with 5 ball shower being some of the trickier ones, but mostly trying to zoom through a tonne of tricks rather than focus on a few harder ones. Had a start at 540s, got a 2up with 3 but got confused and stopped.

5 clubs went pretty well. 88441 took a while, but 97531 and 3up 360 both happened first time somehow, although both a touch messy, and 975 pirouette seemed plausible. I should probably warm up my 5 cascade a bit more, or at least focus on good form there though.

# 5 clubs, 5 balls, backcrosses, 75 minutes

Half an hour on 5 ball backcrosses. Did all my exercises with <5 - 51 both ways went well, 51512 went well. 53, 534 552 all ran, and got two rounds of 55550. For 5, things were good, I'm getting into the rhythm and far more importantly managing to drag catches back to throwing position. Broke my record and got 8 catches. Made 10 good throws multiple times - it's not often I break a record like this and feel disappointed! Qualify should happen in next 2 sessions.

Similar stuff with 5 club backcrosses, went ok, rhythm for 5 has improved thanks to cross training, although actual throws a bit off. No record this time.

To make up for issues with 5c bx, did triples (okish), singles (meh, but only 1 try), 88441 (made lots of good attempts, but took quite a few before back to pattern) and 97531 (cleaned it up, went well, kept 9 very floaty, and 5 too low seems to actually make it easier to get back to pattern).

# passing, 120 minutes

Bruno's with B and B. 9 beat ran. 7 beat ran. 5 beat reasonable, last run we did 5/6 of a round.

With A, 10 club 2 count, not quite as good as last time, but plenty of qualifies when start was sorted.
Attempts at 6 throws each of 12c 2 count to collect. Not impossible, but not particularly close. I caught all six once.
