More collision training and all the typical boxes HLAIB (almost 20 catches!), HLCIB, t2xIB (finally starting to like this pattern after tons of frustration).

Starting to wonder where my limit's going to be with collision patterns. Still making lots of progress and enjoying them. More hokey hockey tricks this evening to look forward to.

A little real practice after practicing silly things for a performance this weekend (which was fun, don't get me wrong!).

Collision practice and a dash of HLAIB, HLCIB, t2xIB (cross 2xed inverted box)

Figured I should start logging again as I begin training for the individual prop competition at this year's IJA. Goal: win 3b competition.

Things were going well today. Sifted through some controlled collision patterns that I think will work well on stage with a small-medium audience. Hoping I can get to about a 15 second sequence with these. Today, worked on "fast shuffle" ("one-handed fake cascade"?), a 423ish thing that goes into penguin catches, and a fast fork pattern.

#HLAIB was working great today, got 20 catches but without a transition back (doesn't count =( ). Got 16 catches a few times, and it involved less bouncing than usual. #HLCIB (high-low carried (carrying the (2x,2x) inverted box) seems to be getting slightly easier. OIB (orbiting inverted box) has gotten to endurance level - breaking 10 seconds oftenish now.

Inverted box, and even HLIB is just too easy these days #powercreep

# Mostly full session, 45 minutes

Still making progress on the #4bsquare, and #CCC2xIB (Cross-columned, cross-2xed inverted box). Practiced some #C2xIB (cross-2xed inverted box) and it felt better than ever (still not good, but I've only briefly practiced it in the past).

Had some clean #7b.

# Weird, 25 minutes

In a sunny section of Thorn. So sunny I wore sunglasses inside. So sunny I became lethargic, and couldn't juggle anymore. Would nap if I didn't have to return to work.

One of my beanbags began to leak slightly.

Great session, enjoyed working on a nice mix of some fundamentals and new and old stuff. Of particular note were my 5b backcrosses, which were outrageously clean for a little while. I certainly got the cleanest flash I ever had.

# Explorative, Mini session, 30 minutes

Came up with one of my favourite ideas yet! Walking around a broken-plane split-synced 4b in columns. Hoping to have it recorded and posted before the panel discussion on the 29th.

Otherwise, focused completely on fundamental components of some long-term projects. Cross-columned, cross-2xed inverted box will be mine, hopefully by the end of the year. I haven't smacked my arms against each other for years!

# Mostly full session, 60 minutes

A bit sore from yesterday. Focused on body throws (which are coming along, most of the old combos I've been struggling with are finally settling [1]) and a bit of #7b. Found out that my ring finger did something slightly different between my left/right hand when starting with a pyramid in that hand, so I've fixed that.

Fast reverse cascade is getting really nice.
