Very speedy ring session today. Most things worked, despite having been driving for 4 hours by the time I got to the sports centre. No real standouts, but very close to a 3 up in flats, and 10 catches of flats with 4 rings so I guess they were going well. 8 felt very good too, and I think the launch of 5 from my left hand is improving.

Went through club and ring stuff. Nothing worked particularly well apart from 6 clubs, which felt like it was getting somewhere. Tried 75 properly for the first time and got 8 good throws out a couple of times.

Various issues led to being super late to the studio this morning, and felt a bit hungover, so only got through rings. Not much notable. 360s shit again, but 7 rings was good and new pb with 4 in my left hand. Tried the double bounce again throwing straight back and making an effort to bounce in columns.

Started with a go at a 2 ball head bounce. Properly hard, maybe more than I was expecting. Got 2 bounces a couple of times and almost got 3, but felt randoms.

Rings felt really good. Got the kick with 5 and almost got it twice. 6 rings felt especially nice. Managed async to sync to async again with enough control to end with a pulldown. 24 catches clean of 7, but no flash of 8.

Mucked around with 3 club trick where I thumb spin a club to drop it behind me as a heli then spin and catch it on the bounce.

Club passing with Becky. 7 club popcorn with triples then 10 club 2 count. Must film the latter to work out the timing issue on my side.

Thought I'd log this week's juggling to get an idea of how much I'm practicing. Got to the studio late again due to roadworks even though I set off earlier.

Warmup: improved dropping the head bounce into a stall and almost got a full 360 with a club balance

Spent a bit too long on 3 and 4 rings at the start, almost an hour. Bxx and spins not great today, balance was good though. Got 4r into 3r + balance and 4r + balance into 5r first time. Need to stay isolated with 4r + balance if I'm going to get into it from 5r. Good run of 5r pancakes, ~15 throws, dropped trying to get back to cascade. 6r felt very good- keeping my right elbow in helped with the angle. Good run isolated, async to sync and back, pulloff to clean flash of 6, 4 up 360 to collect. 7 felt good, ended with 22 catches clean. Nothing with 8 really. Launch of 5 from my left far from good enough for 9.

Had ~45min at the end so blasted through club practice. Almost landed a few 720s but moved on. Alberts and treblas shit- no point spending 2 min on each, need at least 5-10 I reckon. Good runs of 3c doubles and flats with balance. Almost got 4 bxx back to pattern again. Nothing exciting with 4c. 5c singles extremely poor, but couple of ok runs of triples (over 30). Bxx looked better again today. Felt better about 6c too, but had to leave before trying 75.

Stayed up late last night so got to the studio late this morning. Nothing went spectacularly badly, though 360s and bxx weren't good. All the balance things were good though, can pretty much do 3 with the ring balance the hard way now, and getting decent runs of 4. Maybe I should go for 5 like that too.

Worked on blind kicks with 4- catching 2 in one hand in such a way I can launch them again when the ring comes back over. Flat shoes definitely help with the kicks though.

Started badly with 6, but improved a lot in about 20 min. Didn't push long runs, but a couple of about 70 clean. Pulldowns felt easy. Landed a 4 up 360 out of sync- didn't feel hard once the pattern was going, should get it in async.

7 felt good- didn't count, but probably a couple of runs over 20 catches. 7 ring pulldown, pretty pleased about that.

Finished with some 4 in each hand, then some attempts at flashing 5 in my left- 4 in the hand and the last between my legs. Good launch a couple of times, so I felt I was close, but then the skin came off my fingers despite the chalk and I started bleeding everywhere so I figured I'd stop. Still, totally worth it :)

Full session at Camcircus. Mostly rings, with about an hour of ball passing at the end.

Lots of basics with 3 and 4 rings, then quick 5 and 6 rings and a decent session of 7 and 8.

Highlights: ass catch out of 3 rings with a flat, 3 rings with headbounce improvement, 4 up 720, 4 up 360 into pancakes, several runs of 7 rings around 20 catches, 8 ring flash async.

Also, some work on bxx exercises for 5, but not much improvement there.

Ball passing felt much improved. Fell into high-low patterns with me throwing lower and straight, under incoming throws. Felt poor light was partly to blame for not getting longer runs. We'll see on Wednesday...

Haven't been logging my practice recently, but PipJim has so I should make the effort.

Rings this morning. Almost got 4 catches of 3 with a headbounce, but didn't. Worked on exercises for 5 ring bxx (51,52512) on the recommendation of Brook. Will be doing a lot of these from now on. Everything else wasn't great.

Tried some flatfront stuff with 4 and 5 but just got annoyed. Got a backcross out of 5 for the first time and launched all 5, but not accurately.

Made time for a decent practice of 7 today. Got 26 throws again- don't know why I tried to collect, could have kept going. Forced out a clean qualify to finish and ended with some pulldown finishes with 6,5,4,3 rings.

Rings. Got the 3 ring + balance record back which had been sneakily stolen the previous week, only to lose it again the next day. Must stop moving my feet. Got around 40 with 4 a couple of times too. Filmed a 5 up 360, 18 catches clean of 7 and 23 unclean. Right hand moving much more naturally now.

Worked on bxx a bit. Having a crisis of confidence over which way I want to throw them- palm in or out. Will experiment on Sunday.

Hand was feeling better this morning. Still felt a bit fragile though, so I stuck to rings.

Tried to flash 3 rings with a head bounce. Not particularly close. Harder than clubs anyway.

Did much work on bxx. Worked on running 2 ring snake on bxx (50500) and flashing 3 ring snake from my right (50505). Got that exercise from a 5 club bxx tutorial so let's see if it helps. Left hand worked on 53 with the 5 as bx. Got 2 bxx back to pattern a couple of times.

Everything else felt poor, though I got 22 and 20 throws out of 7 rings a couple of times and it feels I could push for the 30 soon.

Need to not skip dinner the night before too- got very tired and angry :(
