In Chicago on vacation. Good session despite tons for problems from humidity.

Did lots of 6 ball stuff. I was hitting that (9555) consistently, there were lots of people around.

# 3-4 clubs, 5-7 balls, balance, 90 minutes

Right, time to get good at juggling.

Following my fairly dire performance in the inaugural Cambridge entirely unofficial WJF intermediates competition (which, while pretty unsuited to my style of juggling, was rather fun to practice for and compete in), I'm feeling motivated to start improving.

So it must be time to start logging again.

My 6 and 7 balls have gone downhill recently so I did some practice kneeling and was getting some decent runs.

After that was working on 3 club tricks - alerts and chest rolls primarily - and on 5 ball overheads. I've never got to grips with 5b oh before but I'd like to get it solid. Best run of 25 clean today so there's a long way to go...

Also, a bit of club balance because my practises have to include a bit of club balance.

Poor practice session. Nutrition was probably the main problem.

I did qualify 3 clubs in one hand (RH - triples).

Started with three blue balls in my RH and three orange balls in my LH. Swap the colors using 7777770, 777771, and by transitioning into whimpy for three throws.

High throws with 6 balls.

Ran 7 balls for 100+ three times, culled the run and collected on the third time. SOLID.

Training: 12 minutes of interval training on the treadmill.

Balls and clubs felt bad. This is the second day in a row that juggling has gone poorly. Nutrition could be a factor.

Did have some good runs with 7.

Handstands.

Quite a bit of 5 ball siteswaps.
6 ball sync to async transitions (higher pattern)
Ran 7 balls for 120 catches
3c went well
4c tons of 534 and 4 club triples
5c went well, no really long runs
Handstands

5b and 6b went well
Ran 7b for 100+
3c and 4c went well

Worked on 4c for a long time

Notes: I started using scrap of kitchen flooring to protect the floor at the gym. This is an awesome idea, it softens the drops and I can go barefoot.

Worked up to 100+ catches with 7 balls.

Worked on a 6 ball multiplex pattern: 2-up 1-up, 1-up 2-up.

I did a few sets of overhead press, bent over rows, and then handstands.

Total practice time: 55 minutes
