# 7 balls, #focus, #endupatt, 9 balls flashing, #StagesOfLearning, #technique, 3 heavy balls, 5 heavy balls, 208 minutes

( after two partly chilly, down to 15°C and below, rainy days, now near perfect again and more warm & dry & sunny days ahead )
3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - 12 min.
5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - 5 min.   Around 100 throws wristy 6-high.
9b flashing - 63 min.   One million times 7 gathers.   Two times 8 g.   11 throws into 7 gathers. 13 throws. (only rethrow attempts, i think)
#SoL #technique - new little insight / tuning:   It struck me towards end of stint, that in the past I have been throwing the first two throws to abrupt, with abrupt movement up as if i were throwing from loose wrist, which doesn't make sense for the first ball from stronghand - a fifth ball on top of diamond gripped four others (and weakhand then following with its first launched fourth ball on the index where it would make sense to try wristy already, but so far, I let it ``follow´´). I am doing them a bit slowlier in any case, but somehow, I managed to even then do them in an abrupt way.   If I do those two throws softer and explicitly get their thrust from forearms almost only, I should get more control over my launches becoming well structured (upto now, I wasn't sure, what exactly makes me sometimes get it well, sometimes bad). Gotta try like that again and track this.
7b casc - 128 min.   44, 43 cl, 43 cl, 44, 53, 53, 45, 49 cl, 55, 66, 53 throws longest runs. Pretty great yield, but I wasn't satisfied, for example, I lost several good runs on ~35 throws' mental (or whatever physiological) barrier, and also did tensed a lot and didn't easily get or stay in snapped-in patterns; no question of ``settling´´ in good patterns, which is my next step & level. Nonetheless, happy with a good yield of course.   [ daily7b II: 66 ]
Also here, found yet a new aspect, "issue" even: #SoL #focus #endupatt - I am often focussing on stronghands' balls up for orientation, while I should rather partage my attention equally on any / both hands' last balls up. It's surely a result of my alltime stronghand \ weakhand asymmetry that never bothered me, but the issue is one of focus mainly. [Note to self:] Also work on, work with, and track this!
5b fastest - 5 min.   (no long runs)

# 7 balls, 9 balls flashing, 5 balls, 5 ball tricks, 3 heavy balls, 5 heavy balls, 208 minutes

5b 56752 - 25 min.   Hardly over 6 sides, but one 9th side into 10th collapsing.
[ short rainbreak 5' ]
3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - 18 min.
[ break - tried to roughly dry the grass with a towel attached to a long branch 15' ]
5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - 10 min.   161 c cl wristy 6-high.   119 throws into collision 5-high.
9b flashing - 50 min.   Many 7 gathers.   Two 8 g.   No rethrows.
7b casc - 53 min.   49, 43, 47, 51, 45 throws longest runs.   [ daily7b II: 51 ]
[ next rainbreak 15' ] meadow was soakin' wet now and wiping off every dropped ball wasn't really "practise" ..
7b casc - 5 min. trying to not drop at all gave 7-11 throws  a n d  drops. Very bad.
.. so I rather did where I can expect fewest drops:
5b endure - 30 min.   359 throws.
more 7b casc - 17 min.   (no long runs)

# 7 balls, 9 balls flashing, 3 heavy balls, 5 heavy balls, #ballproperties, 192 minutes

3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - 15 min.
5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - 5 min.   Short run 7-high.   Longer run wristy 5-to-6-high.
9b flashing - 45 min.   About ten times 7 gathers. One 8 g. No rethrows iirc.   #ballproperties - Balls felt too big and bouncy, not so squishy, and had several ringfingerballslips at launch; presuming they had blown up from cold to warm, I left some air out and indeed a bit whizzed out, but it wasn't much better.   Okay stint, though, structured promising patterns, little spread (smaller radius - used to pick up drops upto one and half yard away - now often they drop right near me or just a step away).
7b casc - 127 min.   Meager yield: 44 cl, 61, [short break 8'], 43 throws longest runs; felt much better 'n that. Hadn't done speedy enough yesterday I now realized. "Nimble" wouldn't get an also comfortable, smooth pattern if not paired with speediness  ( of throwing movement, dwelltime, handspeed, that is, ((not of tact, beat cadence)) ).  Same with "swift" or anything, ratios an' all, done right - without a certain speediness it'll be tensed or doing `behind´ the pattern's speed.   After break had completely lost ratio, pattern, swiftness and it stayed like that. Better again tomorrow!  [ daily7b II: 61 ]

# 7 balls, 9 balls flashing, 3 heavy balls, 5 heavy balls, 213 minutes

3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - 10 min.
5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - 1 min.   149 throws run 5-high.
9b flashing - 65 min.   Over 20 times 7 gathers. No 8 g (?!), and only two or three 8 g in reach. Maybe 9 c in reach, but spotted late and last balls came fast. Two or three launches with not so reasonable rethrows.
7b casc - 137 min.   Mediocre yield: 57, 47, 47, 43 throws longest runs, and corresponding performance: got it well only shortly, but mostly struggling to get it comfortably snapped-in.   [ daily7b II: 57 ]

# 7 balls, 9 balls flashing, 3 heavy balls, 5 ball tricks, 5 balls, 5 heavy balls, 280 minutes

3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - 55 min.
5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - 8 min. 199 wristy on high 5-height (normal 5-high endurance pattern is about a handwidth above head - this was more than a foot above head).
9b flashing - 65 min. Ten times 7 gathers (once sort of 9 c in reach). One 8 g. A few rethrow launches (one 11 t 5 g).
5b 56752 - 27 min. Two 9th sides (one full caught, one into 10th side's throws to collapse). Two 8th sides' runs.
7b casc - 115 min. [ daily7b II: 43 ]
5b fastest - 10 min. Upto 30+ throws.

# 7 balls, 9 balls flashing, 3 heavy balls, 5 heavy balls, 316 minutes

3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - 83 min. Tried some consecutive penguins and then also consecutive claws, which was awkward for the penguins an boring for the claws; I do like the latter in a flowy 2-count (both hands), though. Extra-times again for bx 90° and bbl.
5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - 15 min. 55 throws wristy 6-high. 310+ t 5-high.
9b flashing - 95 min. Ten times 7 gathers. Three(!) times 8 g (very rare); one of which was curious: one early throw went far ahead out of reach and the rest came in just perfect and easy to catch them all. And a few launches with rethrows (11 t 6 g ? i think).
7b casc - 60 + 63 min. (41), [break], 46, 53 throws longest runs. Didn't really get it today - was mostly behind the tact and didn't get that nimble aiming from unleashed wrist(s). [ daily7b II: 53 ]

3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - 20 min.
5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - 8 min. 93 throws wristy 6-high. 190+ t 5-high.
9b flashing - 40 min. Four times 7 gathers. One ``8 g in reach´´ became 6 g. Seeking focus on, control of and shape-accuracy of the first throws launched [ as described in last entry ], soas to more easily or probably merge into a good full pattern.
7b casc - 135 min. 45, 43, 50, 43, 51 throws longest runs. [ daily7b II: 51 ]

# 7 balls, #form, 3 heavy balls, 9 balls flashing, #StagesOfLearning, 5 ball tricks, 5 heavy balls, 225 minutes

3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - 40 min.
5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - 10 min. 109 throws wristy 6-high. 277 t 5-high.
9b flashing - 22 min. Three times 7 gathers. #SoL #technique - I have found an orientation for while launching: after the first two low throws, there appears the tunnel for the next ball(s) to either go on throwing through it, when it's wide enough, or else, in case it's `closed´, use the second front plane. This gives me a focus to focus on, while upto now, I did: "get the first four lower balls out of the way somewhat wider to the sides, soas to hammer up the five later ones on good height full automized" ( without any clear focus on a pattern or structure while(!) launching ). So, I can now do: "one--two--tunnel--tunnel--tunnel--a.s.o.". [ I found this late that stint, so stopped soon after that new insight. ]
5b 56752 - 17 min. Long time only a couple each, 6th and 7th sides; then a run into 12th side's throws to collapse. Also, then an 8 sides' run clean.
7b casc - 136 min. 43, 43, 59, 43, 49, 44, 55, 43 throws longest runs. #form - One hard airless-flabby-weak-worn phase in between, that I got over by not using any effort at all (was powered out anyway), doing very low and as nimble as could very short runs without even taking the effort to correct any flaws ( I was near laying two balls away and doing simple cascade or sth with 5b instead ). A while like that gave somewhat better form again to do halfway normal again. - Moments like that take me back down to realize how little I can actually do ``anytime´´, ``in my sleep´´ / when ``running on half-light´´. # 7 balls, 3 heavy balls, 9 balls flashing, 5 heavy balls, 1 ball, 2 balls, #experimental, #otu, #technique, #mentec, 3 balls, 330 minutes

3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - 120 min.   single bx 90° - i get these well and fluent also while walking (resp. turning) into the catch, .. when I'm ``in a flow´´; .. else, when i have to think and `plan´ them, there's way more fails.   bb looking - "Aim where it shall land, soas catchhand knows where to expect it!" - a short look is then for slightly adapting, finetuning, the exact catch-position only, not the catch depends on that looking long for a long spotting way of the ball.
5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - 10 min.   111 throws wristy 6-high.   155 t 5-high.
9b flashing - 60 min.   Five times 7 gathers.   A few upto 3 rethrows' launches.
.. in between (~15 mins) ..
A young guy came up and I offered him balls to try himself. He did 2b shower and I joined, intending to somehow make it a challenge (not yet knowing how, but I wouldn't do a boring slow 2b-shower for sure): It turned out [°] a racketed shower (otedama?), and catchhand, nearly immobile(!), high on on face-level, formed a basket in angled position soas the balls would just brake on the fingers and roll off it into rackethand. [ #otu #technique ]
Then we did 1b - as high as can, trying straight up, and he released too late and threw way behind himself. I didn't do much better: throwing from deep squat and jumping the ball up to the limit didn't really give accurate straight throws.
To my surprise, he took a third ball, and I showed him, in 3b cascade, there's only one ball in the air for a very long time (so he needn't ``panic´´ or haste), so long that you can downright await the balls falling. I told him aim at some spot or area in the empty air above and showed the about levels with my hand. Also here, I tried to enhance as if it were a new pattern to discover - and it was: Throwing the balls high up awaiting them, allowed to leave throwhand up in the air, and it became an outstretched arms' front-juggled cascade when I left the arm outstretched for the whole cascade, now also throwing (resp. releasing) from high up (yet still circling way down outstretched during dwelltime). Had I wanted to do an outstretched arms' cascade, I'd have circled, swayed, far sideways, like the blades of a [real] windmill, doing an uttermost wide pattern and be doing in the front plane, not as it turned out here, a narrow sort of s'swap 3b-522. [ #otu ]
Alas!, I was too busy with enhancing trivial patterns to become challenging, to check if my instructions fruited in any way.
.. time passes by even faster than when doing with a schedule, when there's people around, .. ( on top of that, people on top, people sitting or walking on top of your anyway-speedy-schedule, you know. ),  so there wasn't any left for even my 5b s'swap while I had initially hoped to squeeze some diversity into my longer session like 75751 or °753° or 8552 or 88522 or 7b-splits or 8b-triplexes or 8b-wimpy or stuff, but now it was time for ..
7b casc - 80 + 45 min. (i actually currently want at least 2½ h of this daily to catch up to where I've been before)   51, 47, 48 throws longest runs before break, nothing over 42 t threshold counted thereafter, just one pretty long, it seemed, uncounted run (~43?-51?).   [ daily7b II: 51 ]
.. in between ..
a ``flock´´ of younger women were either impressed of me doing acceptable 7b runs, or else keen on getting their engines' SD-Cards full with videos of anything stood out of usual everyday-onsights. They nicely asked me, I'd mind a take, in which case I don't (when s.o. asks before), but warned, there might be no use to it as I might be dropping a lot, but they didn't care. I got a good high & wide run  ( which in itself is not so desirable as an effort-ish pattern, but it kept the pattern up and looked nice ),  and half out of breath all the while amidst rowing & pumping screamed "YOU GOT THAT? YOU GOT THAT?".   I tried to get them to use a code in the title that I could later find the uploaded clip with on the internet (a rather unique simple letter-sequence on my T-shirt), but it became complicated (they told me their platform) and we left that out. One of them gave me a glimpse on the take (just that moment above), so I have a rough impression of what "me, juggling" is out there in the ether.   I tried hard, but couldn't manage to hide to them a big grin when they returned their way past me again and they happily smiled back wide.
.. yet another funny moment when there were broadly few people still around, .. I was, again, doing 7b runs of acceptable length, but rather of the tensed, ``trying´´ kind, and a father passed by with his kids behind me, and, in real, or playfully, in silent awe they hushed "(w)oueeeeee" on every uprise of the strenuous pattern in a new attempt. This was so unsuspected and rare a reaction to get, that it made me laugh out loud at them like ``caught´´ by higher mights (at klutzing with effort). Next run, I joined in, doing loud and with notably less awe than they, awkwardly repeating their voicing, and also the rather aged father now did a well-tempered "oueeeee" and we laughed again. Unreal. Ghostly. If you ask me. ( hopefully no one, who did - among some trees - not see the juggling, ear-witnessed this improvised experimental vocal arts `dialogue´ between strangers )

[°] - [ "turned out" ] - #mentec - this is some way of ``letting your hands do what they want or think best´´, being open for any seemingly uncontrolled flow (yet automized movements), free yourself from any fixed (motor) patterns  ( and "fixed motor patterns" is (also?, or: indeed?) a scientific term ),  don't stick to what and how you're used to doing, let loose, let yourself surprise by ``what your hands can do without you interfering´´, give room for, give way to any change, tuning, ways, that they sort of downright ask for in a given millisecond. Or: Do intentless, just don't stop!  ( cf. e.g. "écriture automatique" and e.g. child's babbling, experimental improvised intentless arts, Jackson Pollock and and and ).  But it's in-depth psychology and behavioral science and hard (for me) to fully look through and give a clear description let alone definition or instruction - in fact, I don't even know a name for it.
