# 3balls LEVEL: 1, 3balls LEVEL: 2, 3balls LEVEL: 3, 3bLEVEL:7, 60 minutes

Worked on throwing technique again and did even better than before. At one point i was able to make alot of correct, comfortable throws in a row, but soon after i did bad. But at the end of the session i forced myself to make good throws once again and succeeded.

Worked on level: 7 starting from both sides and did good.

Most time was spent on throwing technique. I THINK i found out why my throws were creeping inwards. I taught my self how to reach out forward and throw a ball to the other hand that still hasn't reached out forward, through throwing technique. And correcting it this session wasn't really too hard. Though i still haven't made it a good habit.

I think i may have discovered what has been holding me up. I have been focusing to much on how i should throw and catch, i should stop worrying about it, and just trust that i can already do it properly and just do the pattern already! So from now on, i'm just going to focus on the pattern, and not my hands.

In other words, i was worrying too much about my throwing technique while practicing the 3 ball pattern. I should focus on technique when i am practicing TECHNIQUE and i should focus on the pattern when i am working on a PATTERN.

Did great. I had some trouble, but i discovered that I wasn't reaching up to catch. I forgot that reaching up and throwing forces you to use more arm then wrist, and helps you throw straight up. I think i'm going to do one more session today, later tonight. well see.

Edit: forgot to mention that i attempted the flash starting from the right and left, and i did better than i thought i would. It wasn't totally PERFECT, but i was doing it right, and it felt right. I also didn't struggle.

And yes, i know, i have been spending ALOT of time working on the basics. I feel it is necessary to MASTER the basics before i attempt to learn anything new or difficult like the 5 ball cascade. It's taking a while, but my throwing technique has improved a ton. I have a feeling that re-learning and mastering the 5ball cascade wont take long to learn. (Once i get past all the basics.)

Spent some time practicing and did remarkably well. I did the warm ups but didn't get to working on the actual stuff. Its kind of tough to practice on vacation! (and i was interupted right in the middle of my session too)

Practiced level: 3 starting from both sides. And at the end of my session, i was able to comfortably juggle the cascade high and narrow, perfectly. :)

I noticed as i was practicing that learning and perfecting the flash starting from both sides really is important. It helps you get comfortable with throwing from both the left and right hand, so both hands are doing the same thing. And practicing the flash and doing it the way u want it to be done (perfectly of course!) before learning or practicing the pattern continuously helps stabilize the 3ball cascade. If i was to rush past this, and just learn how to make more throws, practicing and learning 5 again would be a nightmare. Because after all, the 5 ball cascade is the SAME thing, with 2 extra balls at a higher height, requiring EVEN MORE accurate throws.
