A bit of this and that...some 4, 5, and 6 ball practice and 7 ball attempts. A bit of work on juggling 3 clubs under a club balance (1 club, 2 club, and some flashes to collect). Have set juggling under a balance and 7 balls as my goals for the last half of the year.

Firs t real practice session in quite sometime. Had some good runs with 7, but, the elusive consistent qualify is a long ways off, but, forward progress and that is great. Worked on 3 ring pull downs with a neck catch. 8 to 9 times out of 10 I am successful. Getting better. Also had some great runs of 4 clubs and 6 balls.

Good 6 ball progress. Some of the longest runs I have ever had. Some good 4 club runs, but, club angle is still crap. Fooled around with 3 clubs under a balance and some more attempts at 3 club backcrosses. Had some good 7 ball attempts, but, alas no qualifies this time. :-(

If I am ever going to get the juggle under a club balance I am really going to have to spend more time with it. I got so I could qualify at the beginning of last year, now I am lucky to get a flash. Need to truely devote 10-15 minutes a day on it!

# 1 ball head bounce, 1 club balance, 6 balls, 7 balls, 4 clubs, 50 minutes

Another 6/7 ball practice session and 4 club solidifying workout. Still struggling, but, seeing some improvement. Shoulders are still getting sore from the stress of these numbers only sessions. Holding out hope that I can qualify 7 balls, and get 100 catches of both 4 clubs and 6 balls before year end. Got a 13 catch record with 7 balls...had a 15 throw run, but, dropped catch 14. :-( Ohhh...sooo....close. Had a 50+ run of 4 club async doubles.

Once again practice session focus was on 6 balls and 4 clubs. Trying to make these solid. Working with Warren Hammond via video progress reports and reviews and did the exercises that he has suggested. Starting to see some real improvement. Just wish shoulders wouldn't get so sore, but, technique is improving so this soreness should hopefully be short lived.

Also worked on club balance with a juggle underneath. Really need to practice this on a daily basis to finally get this trick. I have qualified with balance, but, nothing more. :-(

# 1 ball head bounce, 1 club balance, 6 balls, 7 balls, 4 clubs, 60 minutes

Once again focusing on trying to get 4 clubs and 6 balls semi solid and 7 ball qualify. Still only at 12 catches of 7. Getting some good 4 club sync runs and good 2 in one hand runs, which seems to be translating into some pretty good 4 club async runs. Still not close to the 100 threshold that I consider semi solid. 6 balls is still a collision fest after about 4-5 throws from either hand. Trying to focus on scooping and releasing near shoulder line versus at center line of body. Shoulders are not real happy with me right now...lots of wear-and-tear with this numbers work.

Head bounce and club balance stuff to provide rest from all the other exercises.

Will take a few days off toss juggling (to rest shoulders) and only do balance and head bounce for a few days.

This practice session was an odd mix of working on various head bounce and club balance: put rings on and off head while maintaining bounce or balance. Trying to do something to increase the skill so I'll finally be able to juggle under the club balance and head bounce. I then did some 3 up 360 work...still not consistent with this trick. Then moved on to basic 4, 5, 6 stuff, and then 7 ball flashes (getting better!). Then I did some 4 ring practice and some 5 ring endurance.

practice session focusing on 3 up 360 and club balance with a juggle. Complete disaster all around...only like 20% success rate on 3 up 360s and couldn't qualify 3 clubs under club balance any more. Got to get back working on the 3 club cascade under the balance!!!

still slow slow progress on making 3 ball 3 up 360 consistent. did some head bounce work. 5 ball reverse cascade, half shower, and 66661...getting better. 6 ball endurance, and 7 ball flash practice. 5 ring endurance and 4 club endurance. 4 clubs is getting a lot better! yeah!
