Mike Moore

IndyPrep, 60 minutes

Really good session. Mostly focused on boxes, and got a flash several times of underarmpit backcrosses (let's call that...#UABt)

Recorded HLIB with both (2x,2x) versions (top 2x being on same and opposite side at the 6) for a "spot the differences" Instagram post. If you're reading this, no spoiling the answer!

Also came up with a nice David's Dilemma (Medayaki) sequence that I'll record when I get it cleaner. I think it's charming.

Total practice time: 60 minutes

Location: Other lecture room

7b_wizard - Aren't "underarmpit bx" (single \ half-) "contorsionist throws" ?
Mike Moore - Good question! That alerts me that I'll have to be very careful in execution to differentiate them from contortionist throws. The intention of underarm bx are thrown from behind the body such that they can't go higher than the armpit. Contortionist throws move the hand in-plane with...
Mike Moore - or sometimes in front of the body, so those throws do not have a height limit.
7b_wizard - I see. I'll ``rename´´ my rare ones to (single) "underarmpit bx" then.
7b_wizard - .. and .. #glossary :o}
