head bounce, 3 rings, 4 rings, 5 rings, 6 rings, 7 rings, 120 minutes
Hand was feeling better this morning. Still felt a bit fragile though, so I stuck to rings.
Tried to flash 3 rings with a head bounce. Not particularly close. Harder than clubs anyway.
Did much work on bxx. Worked on running 2 ring snake on bxx (50500) and flashing 3 ring snake from my right (50505). Got that exercise from a 5 club bxx tutorial so let's see if it helps. Left hand worked on 53 with the 5 as bx. Got 2 bxx back to pattern a couple of times.
Everything else felt poor, though I got 22 and 20 throws out of 7 rings a couple of times and it feels I could push for the 30 soon.
Need to not skip dinner the night before too- got very tired and angry :(
3 balls, 4 balls, 5 balls, 120 minutes
Tried some ball stuff, but avoided doing more than 5.
Did the bxx drills with 5 balls. Didn't help immediately- didn't get the flash today.
Got transition into and out of overheads, but not in the same run.
Worked on 180s- highlights were 4 connected 4 ups from 4, 5 3 ups from 5 in the same run, 2 connected 3 ups, 3 up 180 connected to 3 up 360 first time, 3 up connected to 744 and much easier 5 ups.
Did some kicking. Got the kick out of 4 with a multiplex and many kicks in the same run with 3.
Finished with some siteswap stuff with 4 balls- b531531 into 741 and a round of 94133 and then 2 rounds of 94133 out of 741.
3 clubs, 4 clubs, 5 clubs, 60 minutes
So since I've done all this backcross work today, I decided it was time for me to get 100 backcrosses with clubs. Didn't feel the best technique-wise, but several runs around 70-80 then 116! Feels very empowering to decide to break your record then just doing it. Wanted 100 on doubles too, but only got about 50 before I decided to move on. Got the singles/doubles transition twice in the same run first attempt though, which was super nice.
Only did flats with 4 clubs. A couple of long (for me) runs, one over 50 catches, then about 20-30 back to doubles.
5 clubs felt good, over 120 second go, so it's looking good for reaching 200 by the end of EJC. Got a nice 744 and about 50 catches of singles.
3 in either hand didn't feel good, but was working on not throwing too wide from the start with my right, a problem I identified from the video I took last night at CUJA. More up and don't rush...

tetrad, 280 minutes
Tetrad just sounds better to me. It's shorter. Really enjoying new stuff -- finally freed of the monotony of trying to break a minute with five. Notes to self: 5B34, 5F5F5F00, 5F05F05F0 (it's the same path to 5F).

5ballPREP, 5 balls, 4 balls, 80 minutes
Session went okay, but blah, focused got lost.
The 534 is confusing, i can do it, but it's hard to tell if i'm timing everything correctly.
As for the 5 ball cascade, I seem to improve more when i practice a set amount of catches. But I have a hard time keeping track.
Next time, i'll do better. Hopefully. Blah. Okay.!
5 balls, 25 minutes
Played around with the 5b cascade.

7 balls, 5 balls, 3 heavy balls, 215 minutes
3b freestyle, misc - 10 min. 5b casc varied - 10 min. High to highest. At 7-height with very loose wrists (aiming hard then - no very long runs). 7b casc - 195 min. More lower than too high runs. Good lot round 40 throws, among which counted: 45, 43, 41, 45, 39. Good average today round 29-31 throws. Short but very worn phase with early fails. Tried emphasise weak hand for several runs (seemed fruitful approach for some tries, blundered another some all irritated with focus - would be nice, if I could get rid of weakhand drifts that way), also move/put the crossing point slightly to the right relative to body (made drift only worse). Other such `tunings´ of posture (slightly bend to weakhand-side; step-stance; body-weight on one leg) mainly have in the past proven to be too sort of compromising / restrictive. I do though sometimes use stepped back foot stance when bending back in order to force the pattern nearer to my body, throwing like from the hips ( like gunman or pushing a wheelbarrow uphill, you know :o]) ). Got used to casually doing 7_KICKUP_[222][222][222][222][345][567]77... (max like 6-8 catches). Also rare tries of 27[57]... And - as epilogue to session - did some "fastest" at round forehead- to my height (tall) [edit, two days later: can't be .. tried again today, was mostly several inches above head, ``forehead to my height´´ is utter minimum for launch or one-two throws + breakdown. end edit] with upto maybe max 19-21 throws. Also casually very high runs (~ b-high) on purpose. [ dailyLongestRun7b: 45 ]
