# Mostly full session, 60 minutes

Back at 100 %! 7b was particularly comfortable (sometimes it looked really nice for more than a few throws!). Working on some transitions into #ISC. First one: from an async fountain. The timing's kind of neat.

71 throws of 7.
(8x,6)* felt easy today. I was 1 catch away from getting 12 rounds a couple of times and 1 catch away from 11 at least 3 times.

# 3 clubs, 4 clubs, 40 minutes

Short warm up

3 clubs:
Tried to do gallop rhythm, with lower throw height from one hand than from the other. (Practice for parts of some of the passing patterns we tried yesterday.) Probably looked like a complete beginner who couldn't get either throw heights or rhythm to work... Didn't work very well.

4 clubs:
Tried to learn to juggle 4 clubs on double single, also gallop rhythm, supposedly good practice for passing 8 clubs 2-count, and for some of the patterns we tried to do yesterday. Didn't get many catches, maybe 6 on the good rounds. Of course tried the other way, too, with left hand doing doubles... which worked slightly better. Definitely got 8 catches at least once.
Most of the practice time was spent on this.

A little bit of 4c fountain doubles

3 clubs:
A few rounds of 1up 2up singles

# Creative Columns, 30 minutes

A bit of creative columns, some 4b blind, and some (4x,4x)* with half bth. The latter (lattest?) pattern went a bit better than usual.

# 4 clubs, 25 minutes

A bit windy today...

Warm up

Fountain, doubles
Kick-up from 3c cascade to 4c fountain
534534 and back to fountain

# passing, 110 minutes

S came to Norrtälje to juggle with me today. Usually I go to Stockholm to juggle with him (and sometimes with other members in the club, too).

Jim's async ppsps with flips works well now.
psphpzphz was OK
Odnom (9647772), we have done this a lot but it's still difficult.
zap pass self (567), difficult. (Decided to practise zaps because they should not be too affected by the wind.)
zap self pass self self (75666) was a bit better, but I over-spun most of my passes (including the zaps).
Gallop rhythm zap self (righthanded zaps, lefthanded selfs). Difficult.
Same rhythm, but the right hand doing zap double-self (left hand always doing selfs)
Same rhythm, but the right hand doing pass pass self pass double-self. Hard. Got to me doing my second double-self a few times, but nothing better than that. First we tried with the right hand doing pass self self double-self double-self, but that was too hard. I should practice juggling 4 clubs on double single.
5-count popcorn

# Targetted, 30 minutes

It still hurts to grip things. Almost positive it's just muscle pain, though, so I opted to do a gentle session today instead of straight up skipping practice.

Made a tiny breakthrough on half bth (4x,4x)*: I should be throwing from a bit wider than I'd been trying before. I think I was trying it that way because that's how I see everyone doing it: kind of hunched over, throws traveling horizontally very little. Since I have so much experience doing a pretty wide 3b bth. I'm going to try to adapt that form rather than work on the traditional one.

I also worked a little on 4b blind because it seems to be a popular world record to chase right now. Michael Hendriksen beat my record from a few years ago, leaving me with no blind records at all. That's no good.

I've realized a mental thing that I do: if one person does something, that person is an anomaly. If two people do it, then I figure EVERYONE can do it.

# 4 clubs, 35 minutes

Warm up

Fountain, doubles
534534 and back to fountain
Kick-up from 3c cascade to 4c fountain
Sync fountain, doubles (I still only get a few catches, more practice needed)
A few attempts to get the transition from sync fountain to async fountain, but none of the attempts were even close. Not that I expected them to be, considering my level of anything sync, but gotta start trying sometime... Though maybe I should practice just doing a double and a triple at the same time (with just those two clubs) a bit first.

# No3b, 50 minutes

75751 and 771 were good. Started practicing 933 again...I think I'll really like that pattern when it starts to click. 5ups, 3ups, #high5 were all decent.

#7b was decent, broke 100 catches. #high7 had its moments!

#ISC was starting to feel a bit better still. Still too much inter-run variability, but that'll come.

# Creative Columns, 60 minutes

Actually got some good practice in at juggling club because everyone was >60 minutes late today. Spent some time on 753, but then started getting some wrist pain on right side. Probably to do with not sleeping well last night.

Did lots of stacked and spread columns. The transition from one side stacked to another side stacked was coming along, I think it'll make a nice instagram video within a week. That's good, because I feel bad spamming about #GuelphJugglingFest2017 if I don't include something useful to people who don't care about it as well. But seriously, if you're reading this and you can, come to my fest!

# No3b, 55 minutes

Things were working pretty well today. #7bhigh looked nice (briefly) a couple times, which is always a treat. Had my cleanest run ever of 771 and #ISC. Finished 5 minutes early because I'd budgeted 6 minutes to recording a good run of ISC, but then got it on the first try.

# No3b, 30 minutes

Quick session after teaching and before going canoeing.

75751 and 771 were nice. Didn't do 645. #high5b was good, and staggering flashes with awkward numbers of setups throws was getting a little easier.

#7b was alright, nothing crazy.

#ISC was okay.

# Full session, 90 minutes

Feeling a bit off today.

75751 - Not as good as last time. Took a while to get it up to running.
771 - Not as consistent as before, but good runs were still good.
645 - Still annoying.
High 5 - Normalish
5b flashes - I'm trying to do the flashes extra high, and work in weird numbers of setup throws to make the transitions back into the pattern more consistent.

7b - Not bad, but not great. 80 catches a few times.
High7b - Nothing good.
966 - some close attempts, but I was more watching what was going on than trying to do any real-time corrections.

#ISC - Pretty normal. It's at the point where a few more days will probably lock it in pretty well.
#TISC - Got a flash of the 3b version. Definitely possible. Practiced it for 10-15 minutes, minor fatigue in shoulders. No real physical strain, which is promising.
