That feeling after you get a new trick for the first time... Sometimes it gives extra juggling motivation for days. Last Sunday was a good one. I look forward to the circus class tomorrow, and might use my cold (only coughing a little bit now) as an excuse to not do the most exhausting stuff... Do some more juggling instead. And there is more juggling as usual on Thursday!

Ah, well. Tonight: Mostly the usual "at home"-juggling.
4440441 on singles is getting a bit better.
Playing "hit the club"... Don't know the name of the trick, but I knocked the club in the air back to the hand I threw it from (it got a slow reverse spin). Tried to do it in a 423-like pattern. It was fun!

Had kind of planned to do a little bit of ball juggling too, but it got a bit too late. Maybe tomorrow, but probably not, since I'll have a high ceiling then so much better space for club juggling. :)

7b casc - ~65 min.   Felt good today.   Great launches right into good pattern, good focus on pattern's top: #technique, #otu, #SoL - Did new way of launching: usually my launches are good and get right into pattern well, when I throw already the first two to four throws up somewhat heartily high, .. today I was in a speedy mood once again and did the first four throws >lower (which seems paradox) and the last three throws higher than usual, sort of [5222][522][522][52][92]99 (into felt 9-high or more than high enough 7-s, then). Could then pull those patterns down into similarly smooth & poised lower runs.   Great yield today was 37, 38, 57, 43, 44, 63, 43 cl, 47 cl, 40 throws longest runs.   #otu - Finished by doing some as high as I can halfway hope to control, right from or soon after launch, about good 9-height that was; seems to be a great exercise to do regularly, given once I got the knack in a stint.   [ daily7b II: 63 ]

10c 7 beat Bruno's Nightmare (2-count/4-count doubles, crossing passes), we didn't get it running but we have tried all the parts of the pattern, got each "walk" at least once. I think it felt a little bit easier than the 3-count/6-count 10.5-beat version (that I can't do yet)

Tried to add a club, with me doing pspss (all passes as doubles) but we didn't get that one.

I was juggling in a basketball gym. There were five people shooting baskets.

Juggling was good. Single rounds of 744 were going smoothly. One high throw, and then two low throws; and then back into a five ball cascade.

Then a mistake. A high throw was inaccurate, too far out of reach to be caught. I could see it sailing behind me, out of sight. Continuing to juggle was impossible. I collected four balls, anticipating the sound of the fifth ball hitting the floor behind me.

There was no thud. The ball never hit the ground. The milliseconds dilated into seconds as I turned around confused.

I turned to face a basketball player who was walking off the court. He had caught the ball and tossed it back to me.

Handstand practice: Just trying to kick up to "not quite standing straight"
Forward rolls: Worked about as well as they did before Christmas.
Cartwheels: Meh. Difficult.
Group acrobatics: Very easy stuff for 2-3 people.
Slackline: Need to practice this regularly. Walked most of the way once (on short, pretty tight slackline).
Trapeze: Got up from standing on crash mat with the trapeze just above my head. Did one really easy trick (star).

5b warmup, casc varied - ~5 min.   #anatomy - Ripped a fibre \ small bundle in my upper right wade when jumping up for a very high throw. I seem to have been lucky that it seems to have been a muscle used for jumping very high mainly with utterly stretched leg, so I since got along just hobbling some, now. Still, surely a question of weeks to heal unto full leg movement, walking, stance.
5b 52567 - ~15 min.   Into 6th side. Two times into 5th side. Two 4 sides clean collected.
7b casc - ~90 min.   37, 39, 35[*], 43 throws longest runs.   [ daily7b II: 43 ]
      [*] 35 th - this was best run .. smooth, low, snapped in right from launch, then rolled like by itself.
